I learned to use Cheat Engine by finding static pointers - which persist after restarting the game - in games such as Zuma Deluxe, Zuma's Revenge, Mine Mogul, and Kenshi.
It's time for World Of Warcraft Retail.
I found the value of the player's money, and then started looking for pointers to that value.
However, when rebooting, not one of the pointers does not survive. The standard way is to Generate a Pointermap, then restart the game and a Pointer Scan For This Address with the addition of Compare results with other saved pointermaps simply does not find more than one pointer that survived the reboot.
If I first find the pointers before restarting the game, then for example by setting the Max Level to 14 with a Pointer Scan of this Address, then overnight (9 hours) I found 2,218,131 pointers. And then restarting the game and selecting Pointer Scanner > Rescan memory, there is no pointer again. It seems that the creators of WoW somehow made the addresses constantly change after a reboot and the methods that work on other games do not work here. But how do memory-scanning bots find them over and over again? If anyone doesn't know the answer, please help. At least just indicate in which direction you need to dig to solve this problem.

No, (and in fact, I don't fully understand what exactly you meant by this. Some kind of provocation? For what purpose?) I'm writing my own bot, I want it to be able to fly. It is not possible to get altitude and pitch data using the lua addon. So I had to dig into game memory. I decided to practice on the games mentioned above and then finally try WoW. But so far I have stumbled upon such a problem. I do not know where else to ask this question, in the topics above it is written everywhere that they are for an announcement and not for questions (In Red letters).
This must be bait, given that youd probably be banned after having CE attached to wow for anything more than 5 minutes.
Well, first of all, maybe I'll still be banned, so I'm playing the free version up to level 20 now.
As you know, bans are distributed in waves and not in one moment as you were caught doing something bad. This is done so that cheaters can't easily figure out what exactly led to them getting caught. At least that's what I read.
Secondly, there are tutorials on the Internet on how to avoid this. However, there are no tutorials on how to get a stable pointer from memory in wow. If you are engaged in botting, bans, it's something that will catch up with you sooner or later, I'm ready for it.
In the end, once again, there are a bunch of bots that work with wow memory and they search for addresses using the same Cheat Engine. And the person who knows the answer to my question definitely knows how to work with Cheat Engine so that he is not banned and does not think that this is some kind of strange provocation.

MMONinja Static - Behemoth Static for End Game Raiding 08/25/2014 - Final Fantasy XIV - 3 Replies Like the title says, I'm forming a static of "enhanced" players on Behemoth Server for players using "MMONinja" tools for FFXIV (or something comparable). The purpose will be to farm end game content including Coil & EX Primals.
Now you don't "Have" to be using MMONinja, but you do have to be using some form of legitimate tools that can do similar things. Also, I'd want to verify you're actually using them so I know it's not just someone trolling us or trying to cause problems in game.

Per static pointer an pinball score kommen 09/19/2009 - General Coding - 5 Replies Hi!
Ich versuche nun bestimmt seit 2tagen (zu lernzwecken memory reading etc...) über den pointer den mir CE gegeben hat
(00025040 -> ) und das offset (0x52)
