I THINK I may have found a solution to your problem, please bear with me. What you MIGHT be experiencing is a hidden process of wow.exe. That's why you can't target wow.exe. So in order to enable it, run EVERYTHING as administrator - Run wow.exe as administrator, run WPE PRO as administrator, and PERM EDIT as administrator. That should help clear things up so you can find your wow.exe on WPE. Took me a while to figure that out.

i found the prozess "wow" in WPE but i couldnot start logging....
I had exactly the same problem abouth wow.exe thing
i just downloaded the wpe pro and permedit and put them in the same folder.
then i opened wow, loged in my char, opened both programs as admin(im vista), choose the wpe pro.exe in permedit- grant permission-( now dont close permedit), in wpe pro go to target program , and now apears loadas and loads of .exe that werent there before including thw wow.exe
