Question WOW offline

hi,
i am new to WOW (well i dont play it) but i want to play it offline. is there a way to do that? if yes, how?

just load this and then you can play this offline! there are npc's but other person cannot connect! then you're a gm and cheat if you want

do i need to have WOW instelled? can i do everything i want with my char (give him the ammount of gold,lvl etc.)?

Yes you will need wow installed and you connect to your own server and yes you can do whatever.
