Future Vindictus KR Developments

Alright so the issue as to why Test Server cannot be launched all started with the Ancient Glas update. I had a look back on the Test Server Patch Notes list and a new security module was added in that update. It hasn't received any new changes yet because DevCAT are still ironing out the issues. But in the future the only way to launch Vindictus KR is by having a full fledged Windows K (Korean) Operating System as your current OS. As of current Test Server only works with Windows 7 K Operating Systems since this module is still in heavy development. However once this module is 100% functional all players that main Korea that aren't running Windows K will have to reformat and Install Windows K. Only do this if you plan to continue maining the Korean Server. There is no way around this security module as of current except to have the correct Operating System installed.

Sounds like they are trying really hard to keep foreigners out of their test server. I wonder why.

I think it's the mass bot attempts that have been happening throughout the years which I can definitely understand where they are coming from. Once the module is polished and working correctly it will be put onto the Live Server as well.

Honestly - Foreigners tried to bot on the Korean server? That's ****** up.

Yeah it is. Though KR has to do what they have to do to keep their playerbase. Because of that type of maintenance though the game is still in the top 10 MMO's of Korea.
