An unpolished UI is the business card of code you don’t want to look at.
It’s not just about aesthetics—a poorly designed interface often reflects a lack of structure, discipline, and care throughout the entire development process.
Misaligned buttons, clashing colors, unpredictable behavior, or confusing user flows don’t happen by chance; they’re usually signs of messy code, tangled logic, improvised structures, and a complete disregard for best practices.
Just like a house that looks dirty on the outside is rarely spotless on the inside, an app with a sloppy front end rarely hides a clean, solid system beneath.
In software development, what you see often says a lot about what you don’t. That’s why an ugly UI doesn’t just turn off users—it scares the next developer too.
And that’s just my opinion—everyone is entitled to their own. Just like you have yours, and I respect that.
