Is gdoc lying about detecting dma

gdoc tweeted saying they found a way do detect dma but hasnt really said anything else specifically about it i personally know multiple people still playing with dma was this just a pointless tweet with no facts to back it up? it seems dma is still good on val as long as u have good FW wanna get some other opinions tho

Some fw has already been hit, but some is very much still safe. But at this point all I can say is wait till firmware goes private. Then get private custom firmware

He is not lying. They have been able to detect and block CFW and Pooled FW since 2022. Firmware developers have been playing with stupid configuration tricks (PORT/header type) which are illegal config spaces that don't exist legitimately on any PC. But it works, and it's able to temporarily get their FW to read while the Valorant process is active. Again, these FW are easily detectable, and the Vanguard team is well aware of them and just uses them to ban waves or block in waves.

Vanguard can perfectly stop any 35T or 75T in the market if not for those dirty tricks being used. Not even Faceit is able to detect or block the pcileech-wifi project

Remember gdoc is just the head of Vanguard. He didn't build this. The real person who built this is Everdox. He even mentions it in this tweet

No, he’s ******* most public fws so you gotta look for some ud ****, but even w priv fws you still get waves that’s why i don’t use dma on Val cause of Nick “everdox” that mf found a way to detect most dma, i mean you can still last a long time with DMA w some cfws that won’t instaban you, but id recd a priv software for Val atleast at the moment + Val a terrible game to cheat on unless your willing to have your bank account drained

The latency/timing checks, vgk is doing, are insanely strong.

Ideas how u could perfom this were even published in papers from 2009.
