So I got banned in valorant for running an apex cheat with vanguard up. Then I got a delay ban in apex today from reports I assume. So I decided to say **** it and use it as an excuse to upgrade my pc and retire from cheating entirely. This is my first ban in both valorant and apex.
Plan - get new motherboard, cpu, ram kit, and disk (and sell old parts and all disks). Build my pc, and reinstall a fresh copy of windows on a new microsoft account.
Question - will JUST my PSU and GPU set off another hwid ban assuming I have a different cpu, mobo, ram kit, and different copy of windows?
Also should I use any of the drives in my pc that valorant wasn't on ( I assume not... )
Frest install of OS actually removes traces left by GPU at regedit.
Atm you are totally fine with changing mobo and drives only. (VALORANT)
No joke but EAC takes things more seriously but only gpu and psu not gonna cause problem (psu doesnt have an id, gpu only left serials at regedit) (APEX)
I'm just doing fine with my spoof at EAC games (I'm not changing monitor serials aswell)

Awesome, last question, I currently have a 5900x. I read that valorant does take amd cpu serials so I figured to be safe I would just get a 12900k and upgrade to ddr5.
However, if I decided to just change my mobo and drives, and keep my ram and cpu, would this be a problem?
I read this in another thread idk, I'm on amd and figured might as well use this as an opportunity to switch back to intel and get better temps
yeah you might as well just change back to intel cpu, get new gigabyte mobo and 2 identical ssd. you can spoof unlimitedly with this setup. if you are new and dont want to do manual spoof, always go for sync spoofer
But if you are willing put in just about a few hours into how to manually spoof ur mobo u can do it too

So is it true amd cpus can get you banned if you swap motherboard and keep the cpu?
