So Valorants server / Riot Direct seems pretty exploitabale and forgiving. It doesn't care about matching players across continents and you can change your VPN to multiple locations during the match around the globe without any issue.
While you get away with some huge delay, you also suffer the other side of the medal in terms of high ping and holding angles and getting peeked yourself gives you a huge disadvantage.
Is there a way to only send your outgoing packets through a VPN, but keep your received packets within your default latency, to create asynchronous latency overall? The dev's mentioned in their vlog that this would get you a big peekers advantage.
Saw some russian player conveniently spike to 500ms ping everytime he was in a clutch situation and he could peek guys and body spray them down before they could fire back, but it looked like he had some super bullet.
