ATI radeon x1650

Hi,i have ATI radeon x1650(512mb) graphic card and when i start playing games fan just freez and gpu overheats.I have windows xp sp3.Is there any solutions exept buying new gaphic card?

Try to control the fan manually. You can find that option in catalyst center, under Ati Overdrive -> Enable Manual Fan Control.

If that does not work:
I've never heared of this problem before. So i would advise you to get in contact with the Ati (AMD) support service and use youre guarantee, if you have one and if its needed.
