Wifi Password Breaking

Hello comunity,

So yeah i have a really terrible internet connexion , i mean it really sucks :s but the good news is that my neighboor has a 100 Mb/s Connexion yaaay ! but its password protected -.-
So i was thinking maybe some of you have a way to find out what the password is (either with a clever way or with just brute force)

PS: Don't answer like "Just go ask him he won't say no" or "Just give him 20 bucks a month and its good for both of you" and trolling like this please

Depends on which encryption your neighbour uses.
WEP, WPA or WPA2? WEP is easy to crack, WPA and WPA2 are difficult and it's not really a crack.. more like bruteforce.. could take you months

However, you'll need a Wifi card that allows packet injection and i would recommend a Linux installation or livecd.

Take a look at backtrack, it's a linux live distribution just made for stuff like this.

i'm a complete ****** when it comes to computer programs , servers , connexion and all that **** , i just surf the net , hit on the chicks on facebook , and play games so can you tell me how to find out about the nature of my neighbours wifi ? ( whether its WPA or WPE or what the **** is that xD)
