if you deleted the files, then they are in recycle bin , if you cleaned recycle bin then you need to undelete it by using a program (undelete+ or so)
please note , you can only restore the files if the clusters are not overwritten with other data
and then there is only 75% change that you can restore it (depends how intact the files are)
it is a long procces and it takes a lot of time , best of al to be able to restore it is to mount a other hd to it to store the files on , as else you get a change that you overwrite the old data so your files going be corrupted
