Question StarWars Battlefront 2 "Steam" und "normal"

Ich habe mir vor kurzem Star wars Battlefront 2 via Steam gekauft.
Ein Kumpel von mir spielt es ohne Steam.
Folgende Frage: Können wir trotzdem online zusammenspielen ?

Ich glaube das Spiel läuft nicht über Steam Server, von daher ja.
Wieso probiert ihr es nicht einfach wenn ihr es schon beide habt?

Sollte gehen, spiele es auch über Steam - aber die Server sind extern du findest keinen oder siehst nicht wer drauf spielt von deinem Steam aus
