I'd like to suggest adding a small
Report Center where users can view the reports they have submitted and their current status.
For example, the page could show:
- The reported post, thread, or comment.
- The date the report was submitted.
- Its current status (Waiting for Moderation, Under Review, Resolved, Closed, etc.).
- Whether moderator action has been taken.
Why would this be useful?
- Users sometimes forget whether they've already reported a specific post, especially when moderation takes 48–72 hours or longer.
- This would help prevent duplicate reports for the same content.
- Users would know their report has been received and is simply waiting to be reviewed, instead of assuming it was overlooked.
- It would improve transparency without exposing internal moderator discussions.
- It could also reduce unnecessary private messages or Complaint Area threads asking about the status of a report.
The page wouldn't need to include moderator notes or detailed decisions. A simple status overview would already provide a much better user experience while helping reduce duplicate reports.
