[Suggestion] Mediation System & Ratings

Hey

At the moment a mediation is basically being rated by the two traders, if these two have rated the trade positive, the trade is ''positive''.


However, if one of these traders ends up being a scammer, and he rates his trade partner negatively, the middleman will end up having a ''neutral mediation''

In my opinion, these should have to be able to be removed, as it looks like ''the trade wasnt succesfull'' and afterall, we use a middleman to not get scammed right? Which means if one of the trader ends up being a scammer, the trade is sucessfull for the middleman because he stopped a scam.

I have 3 Suggestions because of that:

1. - Be able to rate the middleman after you've rated your partner (- be able to add a comment, the same way as we rate now (like a TBM), but then to rate your middleman.

2. - Be able to read feedbacks from the middleman by clicking on his mediations. That way people can instantly see his feedbacks.

3. - Be able to remove Neutral/Negative Mediations (like the TBM-Rating support, as its a rating from the middleman he should be able to delete it) as its not always possible that any of the traders can remove their rating, and therefor the middleman can't remove his either. (e.g Mediation Rating Support)

For me it´s important to see neutral rating of the middleman. If someone is a really good Middleman he will take care of both traders which means he would tell both sides the truth about all risks and maybe also his oppinion about the trade and the tradepartner.

That would mean a lot of trades will be aborted, MM who just want to run through the trade like "I´m only the MM I dont care about both partys" will have in my oppinion at the end more neutral ratings then MMs who are taking care of their tradepartner.

So for me as someone who will maybe need a MM it is important to see the neutral ratings as well.

I think you only made this toppic because you received a neutral Rating.

I can see your point, however some people might see the rating different.

E.g a neutral means the trade wasnt succesfull (the mm did a good job)
Or it means that the trader got scammed afterall (the mm didnt do a good job)

Its kinda hard to know what it means for other people, but this is obviously my point of view.

how do u send a positive tbm rating to a seller? i been lookin everywhere and googled it and cant figure it out

Good idea in my opinion. I feel like at the moment you cant really see much about a middleman at his rating. Of course most of the middlemans have a thread, so you can read feedback about them anyway, but it would be nice if you also can see it by just looking at his ratings - like the TBMs.
For example:
A middleman, that doesnt knows what hes doing and just let both parties wait for long time, will still get a positive ratings because the people finished the trade somehow and gave each other a positive rating.
While - like you allready said - a middleman that stops a scammer gets a neutral rating, because they rate the trade negativ.

I like the sytem like it is as if one of the trader shows up as a scammer it could be a fault from the middleman as well.

I received only one neutral rating and 65 positives, i didn´t care about the neutral rating... but the reason I only hat one negativ was very easy, I had a lot of people who asked me helping as MM where I told them that it doesn´t matter what I do I can only make the trade safe at the point where we traded BUT they wanted to trade goods you can always recover later... some people said then "oh thanks good to know I think i won´t trade then" and I had a lot of people where I had to say "sorry but when I take a look at your counterpart I can truly say he had in the past a couple of banned accounts or looks with his behavior like beeing a scammer I can´t make it safe".

At the end my feeling was that most request didn´t went to a trade because I communicated like mentioned above and I would had maybe some more neutral ratings in case i would have act different.

I´m not sure how many MM are acting like this or will just run through a MM trade like "i don´t care I´m only responsible for the time where we share the goods".
