Recently, the new Bump system was implemented but it's not exactly the kind of feature I'd like to use, at least not in the current state.
Why isn't it?
Well, most of the things you buy during your life are aimed to save you some time/effort - I'm pleased when I can spend money to reach one of these goals. The problem with the new feature is firstly - I have to open every single of my 22~ threads and click the bump button while previously I've been doing that using e*push. And secondly - In order to make full use of the new feature I'm required to follow a strict 12h shedule, it could be managable if it was possible to bump them using some single button (so it's doable via mobile) but currently it's definitely not.
So on a side note I'm suggesting you a change to the new system:
- Allow users to make some kind of bump lists so it's possible to push all the threads at once
Since I've just given you some insight into my mindset I'd like to suggest some donation options now.
1.
Quote:
- Allow users to make some kind of bump lists so it's possible to push all the threads at once
2. The next thing is 5 threads per forum limit that makes you wait before you can push the remaining threads again. Meanwhile it's enough in most of the cases, some games are so popular and developed that this limit is highly bothering.
Except these, there are things I'd like to see that are directly related to some privileges like:
- Highlighted threads (there are many ways it could be implemented in - colourful background/text, borders, small animations of icons etc.)
- Automated thread pushing (I can see it being a problem if it was available for everyone but that's not the case since we're talking about new donation options - the price should represent the maintaining problems)
- New badges or an ability to make your own one using a template
- Sticky threads (it's a bit controversial one but with some restrictions & rules it could be capable of functioning too)
Another thing is the type of the fee, I'm talking about one time/subscription. I'm not sure if it's just me but I highly prefer one time prices, I rather pay some big amount for a lifetime set of functions instead of getting billed monthly (of course the one time fee is plain unhealthy for things like sticky threads for example that have limited availability).
I think it's easy to notice that Elitepvpers try their best to make the forum as free and fair to use as possible but I'm not sure if that's the correct way of thinking. There are people that will be ungrateful no matter what happens as well as there are people that have no troubles noticing how valuable Elitepvpers site is for them and that it deserves to get some of the money they make.
