Arrow Requirement for calling yourself "Trusted"

Hello,

I think it's highly inappropriate that currently, everyone can call himself "Trusted", especially in the thread's title and it's not being regulated in any way.

- At first, it's very, very misleading for newcomers - people that don't know how epvp really work can eventually trust a seller that will abuse that. It's something that is bad for the site itself and I think it should be considered the main reason for this change.

- At second, it would make the word "Trusted" in the title some kind of reward for those who really do everything to be fair. That sort of people is what epvp definitely benefits from.

- At third, it would just make the whole trading section more clean!

What requirement should it actually be? Well, it can be pretty much anything - some specific number of posts, +TBM ratings, time on forum, -TBM ratings restriction, vouch requirement, etc. and of course these can be combined.

Greetings!

And how do you think this should be enforced? You can put the text "Trusted" in nearly everything (User Title, Signature, Trading Topic, there are even user with "Trusted" in their name)
We would need several moderators only looking for such users 24/7

Also you can't trust 100% anybody in the internet

Yes, you can put the "Trusted" everywhere but nothing will be as meaningful as it in the title what is mostly the first thing people see. Moderators wouldn't even have to look for those users, it's a matter of one report and I don't think such people are welcome here so there would be a lot of these!

True, you can never be sure of others in the internet but I think that any way that can possibly increase the safety should be welcome, after all even the whole TBM Rating system doesn't provide 100% safety but it's here, and it's here because it's very useful. This change could be potentially really helpful, it would also be a good addition to all of those things that are already implemented here.

No one is "trusted". If we'd reward users by letting them put "trusted" in their title, it would mean that we think the user is trusted, but that's obviously not the case since we can not know if he is. That would confuse new users probably even more and could be abused.

Well, saying trusted is a purely subjective term, because people have their own requirements of the "trusted" meaning. Some people would be willing to trade with someone whom has 10/1/0, but someone else might find trusted would be 150+/0/0. It's an advertisement piece.
Plus, banning a word, in a sense. That'd require a lot of effort to find then possible warn every person whom has said "trusted". It's best to assume no one is trusted, not even the person with 1000 tbms. Take every precaution possible. Don't trade if any flags pop up.

Just add the word "trusted" to the blacklist.

Well, that's somehow a correct point. Although, I think that letting people that have proven at least something write that would be still better than letting do that everyone. We can never assume someone is 100% trusted but a seller that would meet the requirements is more likely to be trusted than someone brand new.

So it has to be "most likely trusted" and not "trusted".

By simply making a rule, people will know the consequenses when they put that in there.

People put trusted in their title, sig, whatever > warning/infraction

Sorry for Writing this here, but 2lazy to write a own thread. But I Think it should be banned to write Verified Challenger, master, Gladiator, Global elite, or what ever rank system you use in the game ur boosting in. Without being Verified by a mod.

But then it would take some time for mods, but its not actually more then 10-15 Challengers in the League session for example, but 100 people claming it. :^)

If even that many.

That have nothing to do with rep, opinion, trust, ect, just facts. And easy to regulate.

Sorry for the grammar misstakes, wrote this real Quick.

Meanwhile it sounds like an okay thing, the problem is that a lot of efforts would be needed to put in order to make it work.

______________

Actually, isn't there a similar thing with middleman? It has its own requirements, gives some prestige and ability to guard trades that can be easily abused. Although, epvp says that every middleman is not offical and they aren't responsible for their actions. Wouldn't the "Trusted" work in a similar way?
