[Suggestion] Close all threads in SRO advertisement and start again

Changing thread title to -> SRO Advertisement Clean-Up Suggestion due to confusion.

There are 2 scenarios:

1. Let active and legit topics stay alive, delete the other threads and create the rule that every new advertising thread has to be approved by mods

2. Delete everything and create the rule above.

Edit: Seems like no one gets the point. Also, if you have an active server community it shouldn't be a problem to be again on the front page after a wipe of threads. Still, we're talking here about a full close of server thread - not a wipe.

I say cleaning the sro section is a great idea, or at least remove the useless posts, offline servers, threads that don't follow all the elitepvpers rules, I mean theres a lot of spam threads in the SRO Section as well as the useless ones that bring conflict, percect example is the Elamidas (Beta Testing) one, alot of replies were removed there due to the offensive lauguage as well as tons of false rumors regarding the admins or the eta of the server.

I vote yes, clean the sro secion!

Also, how about only the Moderatos like PortalDark or Creationist can create a thread in the advertisement section? Every server admins that wanna open a thread must message a Moderator to post their threads, then, if all the rules are followed, the Moderator opens the thread and once he opens it, hes in charge of keeping it clean, that'd be a great way to start fresh and keep it clean

Let's "lock", not "delete" all SRO mods' accounts. They can start over from new accounts.

I suggest the things to change advertising section for months, some people agreed, some not, but let you read my post ahead..

In my way, as I wrote somewhere :

Close all threads in advertising section

new section should be called "PvP Private Servers" and "PvE Private Servers" I mean to divide sro sections to have it clearly

Owners of the topics will have 3 days after changes to report to PortalDark or Creationist information, that their server is still alive and and they want to continue advertising (n in my way topic should be paste into new section) well, I decided to suggest it cause some people really work hard for their topics which have more than 1k+ post and much views, so let it be fair

New threads should have at least 500 words to introduce server things

Topics should have minimum 10 pictures

no facebook links allowed, even to groups, it's really sick and suck

As we have new rule, plagiarism is for now punishable so it's already done

Advertising must be in English or Deutch language (no more turkish)

If server will not following the rules in start (no backlink) it shouldn't be closed, it should be deleted

Guess enough for now.
In my way, there may be spam in first 2 days, cause there will be may 30-40 topics to add, no more.

Guys, everything need changes.

I think due to the poll and thread title, some users got a bit confused on what I'm actually trying to do. I'll edit this thread later to make it a bit more understandable to the non-english speakers.

You think just because English isn't my main language that means I can't read couple lines of text?. I know what is this thread all about, and I'm fully aware of what I wrote, and since you didn't get the sarcastic reply, Let me elaborate.

You want to waste people's effort and close their threads? Let's try the same, but this time, wasting your own effort and see how you would react. Most of the people who tend to agree with you either do not have any opened threads, or their servers got shut down for the casual reasons. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be reacting this way if they had an opened thread(s). This is hypocrisy at its finest.

To moderators : Even if my topic is sucky and un-organzied. What is your problem? as long as my server is running and I have the backlink to e*pvp, you shouldn't be concerned about my thread, unless if there were any violations in the posts.

To other people : Play fair, and Stop using moderators as your personal toys in order to achieve your goals.

Okay, let me explain. I didn't once mention that this idea is going to happen. I posted this Suggestion so people can post their suggestions too. I didn't post this thread forcing you guys to agree with me. I want to hear your opinions so me and Portal can make a change based upon what the community want, not us (the moderators).

I dont get the point, to be honest...why would you close all current threads? Either you delete all threads in this section and make a absolutely fresh new start or you simply let it go. There is like no point in just closing them, just to let them make one more thread of each server...

At first i thought you gonna delete all threads to make a fresh start with new rules and i was like "hell yea, ima agree". But then i saw you would just close em and then i was like "hell nonsense at all..."
