Admins and the staff has made many threads which included "Always be sure who you are talking to", "Request a trade". It's their job to check the sticky threads and obey it. Adding a pop-up would be a mess. I totally agree on this point with Der-Eddy. Some Scammers, as well as the traders, both think they are smart, but they are not. About your trusted people part, no one is trusted.
Anyone can do anything. That's the law of world. Even if someone have 500 TBM, doesn't mean they are hundred percent safe. e*pvp will provide support for everyone But if you have e*gold trader or premium, you will be eligible for "TBM Rating Support". If it's a negative rating, and you want it removed, unless you have e*gold trader or premium, It's not possible. But, I assume that if the scam is indeed real, It's still possible to ban the scammer. It's not elitepvpers fault if people don't listen and act irresponsibly. It's their and only their fault. If they want to know how to trade safe;
