Can we have an option to block signatures?

On one other forum I've seen nice option - block other user's signature or block all signatures on the forum.

Frankly, most of user signatures are really annoying. Surprisingly, moderators are no exception - turning their signatures into huge colourful advertisement banners.

Because the forum rules do not forbid it and obviously they don't even discourage it, I think it would be fair if those who don't like it could do something about it. Using AdbLock Plus add-on, I wanted to block the element containing signatures, but the problem is that it doesn't have static ID.

The signature element's ID follows the parent post id: post_signature_XXXX

By the way you are not quite right.

The rules say:

A signature should not be looking displeasingly, i.e. you are not to use extremely large fonts or bright colors excessively as well as flashing animated images and such.

So we do actually discourage annoying signature and even forcibly delete very annoying ones from time to time.
