Try these steps:
a.Google the error.
1.Check IIS & DBConnect.asp to make sure the credentials are properly set up,
2.Check SrShard.ini and other .inis inside the certification folder (don't forget to compile),
3.Make sure you've properly set up ODBC in
English (important),
4.Use a clean (_AddNewChar) stored procedure:
b.If all else fails use another database, you can just google "vsro database".
