[Release]Skill Point(SP) Exploit!
Recently I found an exploit that works on every sro server, it gives one the ability to get unlimited sp(Skill points) in no time. Shortly, you could do so by deleveling a skill of yours and then leveling it up. Hehe and of course a slight pk2 modification to accomplish the trick. ;-)

The exploit used to work on every sro version, including official servers. It opened a huge hole in silkroad and was shortly fixed in some versions. Here's a list:

Theory
Using a slight pk2 modification, the desired skill's level is lowered to 1. However, this only me you and the client know about. Provided this skill is zero, leveling it once will result in leveling it to the max, this requires less sp.
Develing a skill back to 0 brings some skill points. Using that trick afterwards results in extra sp, because it's leveled only once. The higher the skill is, the more skill points you get.
The trick does not get detected because the server doesn't check whether the desired skill is leveled n times before leveling it (n+1)th time.
Note: Knowing the theory is a plus for a reason. I didn't have enough coursed hearts on my char to test it and used different methodology than the one below.
I. Requirements
1) Drew's PK2 Tools. We're gonna need that to modify the pk2. You can find one
.2) Silkroad installed.
Now the guide, here we go.
II. Silkroad copy
Create a copy of your silkroad folder. Name the folder 'sro modified';
III. PK2 Modification
1) Open PK2 Extractor from Drew's PK2Tools (link is posted above) File--> Open. Locate Media.pk2 in the folder you just created in step 1.
2) Extract Skilldata.txt Located in "server_dep\silkroad\textdata". You can now close Drew's Extractor.
Note: It's very much possible that this file is not going to work for you, depends on your sro version. To ensure it does, make sure there is no such file named "skilldata_5000.txt" or it's likes. If there is, instead extract all those files beginning with "skilldata_".
3) Locate the skill you'd like to do the trick on in the skilldata file. I suggest you pick a high one to get a solid amount of sp.
If you're having a hard time finding your desired skill, this list
should give you a hand.Note: I suggest you use Excel to do that, it's the right tool for the job. If you don't have MS office installed, use notepad. If that's the case, it will take some time to process the file.
4) Modify the skill entry. Follow the example below:

Note: You've gotta modify the correct entry! Say the skill you'd like to use this trick on is level 6. You should correct the entry, on which the skill level column contains 6, to 1. That's it, save the file.
5) Open Drew's Editor. Using the File--> Open menu, navigate to Media.pk2 file in the 'sro modified' folder that you made in step 1. Now locate the modified skilldata file in step 4 in the dialog that appears after pressing the 'Select file' button. Type in "server_dep\silkroad\textdata" on the text field below this button. Press import. That's it, close the extractor.
IV. Applying the trick ingame
1) Open silkroad from the original silkroad folder that you have had before reading this tutorial, get in game with your desired character and delevel your skill to 0. Close silkroad afterwards.
2) Open silkroad from the modified silkroad folder that you created in step 1, get in game and level that skill once. Reopen silkroad from original silkroad folder and get in game. Should it show 'MAX' under the desired skill, you've done it. If it does not then you've miseed a hit. In case you've got a DC after leveling it up, then the exploit has been fixed on the silkroad version you're testing on. Be a good guy and report that to keep the table in the beginning of this thread up-to-date.
3) Repeat step 1 and 2 till you get tired.

Note: The video tutorial shows 2 tricks. First trick is explained. Second is the transfer bug in SWSRO (SunWorld Silkroad - a private server this vid was made on), for that reason the author used 3 clients. The latter trick works by putting an item on the exchange window and then using it, it's a like of the so known dupe method.
