So, I've been having too much time on my hands due to being graduated and having holidays, so I've been looking into the silkroad map formats. I got a great amount of help from ni's blog (The other place) trying to crack this, and also Synx gave me some useful info. So once I figured out the main layout of the files I set to coding with this map viewer as result.

[WIP] Silkroad's GFXFileManager API 07/12/2012 - SRO Coding Corner - 22 Replies This is something I started working on recently for fun. The idea is to get rid of PK2s and be able to use free/loose files (for development) or a custom archive format (for pservers). It's still under heavy development, but I have made some interesting progress. I can start the game via a launcher and play normally without any PK2s (in my video, I start through OllyDbg).
