Hi! I'm trying to use the VM on another server (SROTimes) which has Maxiguard.dll and this dll doesnt run on VM apparently, is there any way around this?

I understand why you need to open more than 4 characters, however we consider this as a corruption and one of the essential law breaks. Please play fair.

Even tho this is pretty old already, I must mention that the VM is infected, which is not the sro client.
Some "magic" resides in c:\windows\hidden.dll.
Make sure you clean the VM by searching the registry for the "hidden" service, and by deleting the mentioned file. This can be accomplished by safe-booting the system and deleting the dll.
Data might get stolen or the VM could start stealth bitcoin mining.
@MeGaMaX, I always had high respect for you. Would you mind explaining what the "service" does and why you even put it as "first boot" installation routine on the VM, making it pretty persistent and hard to find?
I hope I'm just wrong here. Else this would be a pretty low move.

Without this dll, this is essentially a standard Windows virtual machine. This dll hooks into the Windows kernel to hide the VmWare names when the application checks for them, making it appear to be a normal PC. I'm not interested in nonsense, as you already know. You can debug the dll to ensure that it has no outside connections or anything illegal other than hooking the functions responsible for changing the windows drivers, motherboard, CPU, and so on.
Note: Dont use this on normal windows. Only VMBOX or VMWARE.
Note2: Thats why i said dont install vmware tools, because it will screw whatever this dll does.
PS: You could have had asked on discord what is this ^^
Greetings,
MeGaMaX.

you should have this before on the main post. To make people aware of this dll and its purpose
@theross can you try debugging the dll and see what he says is true?

No, I shouldn't as long as i didnt break any rules, because no one ever mentions his secret method of doing anything. And I'm old enough to be trusted here. It is entirely up to people whether or not to use any of my releases. I have no desire to cause harm to anyone. For example, everyone was using mbot crack, despite the fact that almost every antivirus flags it as a false alarm, but it came from a trusted source. Don't play games with me right now because you won't find anything to accuse me of. The user has control over the entire virtual machine. And if the purpose of this dll was to cause harm, I would have encrypted it or hidden it from the start. So please have faith and stop telling me how I should do my releases. It is up to the users to fully scan it once they have downloaded it.
You can decompile the dll to see what it's doing, or look for any outgoing connections from this dll to anything so we can end this stupid debate.
Greetings,
MeGaMaX.

Dont come with the "do you know who i am?" remark, please.
Any sort of malware INTENTIONALLY placed on a release, specially if the one releasing does not warn users about it, is a direct violation of our Guidelines and Rules
Im removing all links and closing this thread until I get any feedback from anyone that can decompile the dll.

You're right. It was a **** move from my side and I apologize for the histery. After taking a closer look at what exactly is happening in the VM, it seems that the dll is exactly doing what you wrote and isn't causing any harm.
Thank you a lot for the release.

Hallo zusammen,
