The filter is protecting you against known exploits and some of the potential new exploits, if the filter is blocking all unknown opcodes. But it can't protect you if you ****** up your server yourself like causing new bug, exploit by incorrectly debugging the files or some stupid database edits.

Also the filter won't protect you against DDOS attacks, since DDOS attacks are taking down your network infrastructure.

Hello everybody.
I released the latest free version (V2.3.5), feel free to have a look, a detailed change log has been posted to your convenience, check the main thread.

if you have previously used older versions of SR_Proxy please delete your proxy db called "SRO_VT_PROXY", the filter will automatically install the new required tables & procedures.

Do not copy-paste your old .cfg to the new version because it is not compatible with older versions.

Please note, some features are disabled in the free version.

If you faced any problems or have any features suggestion, feel free to contact me.

besides, if you have time to beg for a feature as simple as "silk/h" you might aswell add it yourself

Well, it is up to you.
Either use the old free version (which does contains some bugs), or use the new free, fixed, improved, that has a few more features to it.
You wanna know whats new? read the change log, check the filter there are many changes & new features if you dont value them its your own problem.

You see the end-result, but i see the whole way to it, a little gratitude would suffice, one may think your'e fighting over the paid version, so you have no say-so here.

For those who want to use the Filter with BlackRogue files I've made some tests in my dev server.

What's Working
*- Login
*- IP Limit, Packet Limit & other protection features.
*- Diagnostics Features
*- Connection Manager Features (except sending notice to player)
*- All features in page - Features IV
*- All features in page - Features III
*- Action Delays (partially - crashing the client trying to send a notice)
*- LIMITS\REQUIRED LEVEL (partially - crashing the client trying to send a notice)

What's Not Working
*- Automatic Events (client crash due to unable to send notice)
*- Ingames Player Welcome Message (crashing the client)

Suggesstions
The filter is totally usable with BR Files, for mainly protecting the server from attacks purposes. It's 100% stable when you disable all the features which require to send a notice to the client.
If you're looking for the features which are not working you can use multiple filters like SERVER --> SUPERMIKE --> SR Proxy, you can get back the features which aren't working by using SUPERMIKE v29 behind SR_Proxy which supports Black Rogue 100% but no protection for the latest vulnerabilities.

Item Dublication Exploit
Other than that, there is a EXCHANGE STACKABLE ITEM DUBLICATION exploit in Black Rogue files. I don't know how it's done, so I can't test it (it's not like in the old jsro files) and I don't think this filter has a protection against it, so add these to malicious opcodes file 0x7081, 0x7082, 0x7083, 0x7084 to disable exchanging feature.

Hi, i appreciate your feedback, i wish all posts were like this.

if it comes down to just a few stuff, i will make it compatible for BR as long as i have some free time, but you will have to keep testing yourself since i never had interest in BR files.

also, can u be more specific what in-game message isnt working ? the pink gm notice ? or the blue game notice ?
as for the dupe bug, you will have to know how its done, so i can disable it.
