Only agent server connections are counted. There's no reason there couldn't be an unmetered connection limit.

My point is this, when there is many concurrent users and someone attack your server will drop the connections. This is not a joke, you can ask anyone that have used OVH before and you will see. ETC Elamidas, Pioneer.. and the list continues.

WeeMan pretty much already answered that, we can just switch to a different host if needed.

There is no one using the filter service, so if it goes down like you say it will then I can simply move to another provider. From what I've seen so far, the attacks are detected and mitigated immediately. None of the traffic hits the server in any way and everything stays online with only a small latency increase.

Actually, they seem to drop all packets going to the server on whatever ISP they are actively mitigating on. If new connections take a different route they still get through. I have tested it and it just seems to be a limitation on their end that they could correct with the VAC system. Anyway, no one really seems that interested. If I get no response from OVH by the end of the month I'll probably end up GPL'ing the source code.
The whole idea was to make private server exploit/DDoS protection affordable without needing to fork over $350+ a month for a Hyperfilter server, or even more if you planned to run everything from there. If people are actually willing to order the filter server, which no one has or even is interested in, then Hyperfilter would be worth doing (or even better, Voxility).

OVH replied. but OVH support is slow as ****, so it can take some time before they reply to WeeMan's response.

Took you 2 months to read the thread thoroughly? Wow, that's amazing. Or is it because you didn't want to disappoint krall friend and close his thread too? #2pro
