You will
never ever hear a programmer say "don't use the detours algorithm"; because it's a library. Still waiting for your proof regarding your comment about the slowness of detours. Why would I have hard feelings, I love to teach people things. However, it gets annoying when people that do not know what they are talking about think that they are right because they heard that something is bad, thus they believe it and spread it, that's not good. So, if you could please post the paper which proves that using Detours is slow, if you don't then It will be my last post regarding this dumb issue.

No. If you want to solve the shortest path problem for example, then you use an algorithm, but you don't say "use the detours algorithm" for god's sake.
