:. Downloading:.

Right, first you'll want to go to . Next, you will want to go to "Downloads" then download all the of the top downloads.
:.Installing:.
Once they have finished, put them all in one folder then click install. Once the install is finished, open up ECSRO_CLIENT then you'll get this menu.


:.Registering Your Account:.
Congratulations! You have finished all of the complicated stuff, now is the easy parts. Go to again, but then click "Register" down the side of the homepage. Now it should look like this.
Now, listen carefully. Fill in your ID, Password, Email, and then click the little drop arrow with "Server" next to it, choose either Fembria or Ecsro public, they are both very full servers and will take quite a while to get in, exspecially on the weekends. It will be like this.

Server: Fembria

^ But use YOUR OWN INFORMATION!, and remember it as well, write it down, put it in notepad. When done, it should say register completed and now you have registered for either server!


Now, remember when I said open up ecsro_client? Yeah, now open it up and click either "Ecsro Fembria" or "Ecsro Public" then click on start! Congratulations! Now you can start playing the game!!

:. Character Creation.:

Right, you've done all the creating, installing and downloading, the boring parts are done. Now we go ingame! Logging in will be really hard since we are at the weekends at the moment and players are off school or work. Right, one the game has opened enter your ID AND PW (From the reging part) Into ID and Password. Then Click enter.(My advice is to put something heavy on enter.) Wait a couple of minutes(or maybe more) and you should finally get into the game... Hurray! Now the cool part, creating your own character. Once you are logged in, click on "Create" then you'll be at a character creation screen, like so: Right, now you can customize your own character, you can choose between 12 races, from male to female, to very tall and very short, to fat and small. Now, choose a name. Once done, click on "Unique Check". That checks if it is already taken or not. Okay, now click on "Create". And you are now ready to enter the world of silkroad" GOODLUCK!

The ecsro forums is a place where players can discuss ecsro, or just talk about random stuff. The current Moderators and admins of the forum are,

Great guide till now, only problem is most users prolly have free account rapidshare..just like me..
so now I have downloaded the first part I'm on my downloading limit for today..
Does it really have to take 3 days to be able to download a game

regarding the client, i downloaded 3 of them on the website...i also put it in a folder, but i dunno how to install it, anyone know how to solve it? or is it the file itself is alr damaged...please help me..TY

I have a much better option to get the full client with the minimum of efford.

Go to the main site of ecsro.net, here is the

Register left on top, (you just have to fill in a acc nr./pw/email) you have instand acces.

Now you have registered you have to go to the download section.
First post you see is called ecsro client version 1.091 (22/03/09), this is the one you need!

There are 2 file's you can dowload, you only need the first one.
Depending on your internetconnection the download will take 15/25 min.

After downloading install it and your ready to play!!

This is 1 full client wich doesn't need anything patched or changed.

no you dont help...i downloaded the file..when i was extracting the file to install it it sayed that i need the 2nd part to extract the 1s part...

i cant start game i doed alll u said and when i press start he give's me an errour where he saying:
