Makeing a Auto-Updater ?

1. Open your SMC Folder an create 2 Folder named:

First: Patch_Internal
Second: Patch_Internal_Comp

2. Open ServiceManager.cfg

It look like this:

ModulePatch
{
SrcPath ".\Patch_Internal"
DestPath ".\Patch_Internal_Comp"
}

3. In Patch_Internal make a Folder named "media".

Put all Subfolder from the Media.pk2 with all files that are used to be in there.

Example:

You want to patch your client with a new abusefilter.txt file.
You simply create in media folder the following subfolders.
server_dep\silkroad\textdata
Now you just copy your new absulefilter.txt into the textdata folder.

4. Launch your SMC and click onthe Modulepatch Button
Now rightclick on SR_Client, then left click on Patch:SR_Client 22.

You can see now the latest version and below the patch version with an empty field to the right. Here you just add the current year, month, day and an additional _1 if this is the first patch you will do today. If you patch more patches the same day you just give them a _2 or _3 and so on.

Now click Read Patch Data and SMC will check the files and remove any unknown formats if found. Now click Analyze patch data and finally Start Upload.
Once done click Server control and start common service again.

okey its good and i did all but i have a small probelm

its upload correct and all done but when update in luncher after update done and going to save the update its getting Error_code7

any help?

Try this:

Go to SRO_VT_ACCOUNT in ur db >>> dbo._ModuleVersionFile

scroll to the end and search for version (example 189 in nVersion column))

and in column nToBePacked change 0 to 1 (make this at all entries from this nVersion of update)

Than make a right click and execute.

Close downloadserver.exe and gatewayserver.exe

Open them again and start they service in SMC

Open your client an it will update well =D

Tell me when it works =D

its creating in game folder Folder name " media\server_dep\silkroad\textdata\refshopgoods.tx t" already compress

and when start game luncher its update well ..
but after finish update and going to save it msg box apper " Update Failed Error_7"
