Hi I'm still having this "VP Error 0x01". So far I have tried:

* Installing on C, Program Files, Desktop or D
* Disabling firewall and adding folder to exclusions
* Opening as admin and compatibility for XP SP3
* Deleting everything related to SRO and installing again

These have not worked so far. Any suggestions?

Happy to see you did not gave up on the sro community yet. Should still have my lvl69 char on normal server, so it's very tempting to join! These 2006 files are so cool and the game feels so fluent. I never lost faith in you during previous server instabilities, but I hope you can keep things stable for a while now, so you will not scare the 'server-hoppers' away. Every player counts in a small community like this
