As some of you may know, I am Gencay, also known as "Balerion," the manager of the server and community.
Along with me is our professional and reliable developer "KLauS," who will ensure that all of your yearning cries for stability and immersive features are met!
Purpose & Motivation:
Our team has been serving the community for several years, whether it be through assisting, development, or management - or even as a player.
It's no secret that the state of the scene is in extremely poor conditions for multiple years consecutively now. We're here to reverse the negative views of the game, end the cycle of corruption and unfairness amongst you and your opponents, and provide the most entertaining and satisfying server you could possibly want!
Together, with your support, we plan to stick to these motives and excel beyond them. We're here to not just create a great server - but to truly innovate and change people's views of this delightful game. Join us on our journey - be a part of the community that will blast into the future with our team. Rion Online is coming with unanticipated force, it is certainly the one NOT to miss!
Transparency:
As the common saying goes: transparency is key. It's of the utmost importance for the players to understand exactly what is going on behind the scenes - to instill a sense of trust within the community that you cannot find anywhere else; where you will not need to worry about silly and controversial subjects such as corruption and deals.
Everyone understands the reality we are living in: our former childhood game was converted into a business, a money milking machine... since 2019, and increasing since then, corruption has been so prevalent it's nearly public!
Such actions tampers with the core essence of the game - HAVING FUN! We want to bring you back to the carefree times of gameplay in which there no monetary deals to worry about, only enjoyable competition.
Rion Online is one of the only servers that can TRULY ensure that there will be no type of deals or corruption made in-game. Nothing like this will ever occur in Rion. EVER.
Our promise, from us to you, is that we will always provide the fairest server possible, and to bring back that nostalgic shine that you desperately desire. Silkroad is a game, not a business, and for all of the game lovers out there, this one's for you.
Play to Win:
Yes, with a system design that puts the player in the center, you will be able to actually "win" as you play the game.
Thanks to the systems, innovations and events that we have added, you will be able to achieve a multitude of accomplishments without investing money in the game whatsoever. It's possible to be a superstar in Rion simply by being active, no donation necessary!
Although all of our features and systems are heavily tested during development, it's likely that some minor flaws slip through the cracks... it always happens in one server or another. Nobody is perfect - we are all human and flawed.
Despite that, this is where you, the players come in:
To ensure a perfect, stable gameplay on the Grand Opening, it's essential to ensure that there are no bugs whatsoever in the game.
Open Beta will be open to all users to test whatever features they desire, and if any bugs are found, you may even be rewarded!
Phase I of the Open Beta entails the testing of all features, especially balance. PVP is essential in this phase, as it is one of the final opportunities for player feedback regarding skill and build balancing.
All features will be available to test during this phase, and you will have access to a variety of free items, including: free end-game gear, unlimited silk, gold, etc. to assist you in testing whatever you'd like!
The main purpose of Beta Phase II is to test the leveling experience, and ensuring that your powerleveling journey will be as smooth and uninterrupted as possible.
In general, the grinding process, zones, events and rates will be tested.
Additionally, there will be a variety of events and rewards throughout phase II, specificially powerleveling and ranking events. This will give you a leg up on the Grand Opening.
We encourage all players to take advantage of these opportunities and to participate in the various events we have planned.
- The purpose of the beta process is to run all tests in general.
- During the beta period, the game may be subject to frequent maintenance. Necessary information will be provided on Discord.
- All accounts created will be deleted at the end of the beta.
- Don't forget to send us your requests on Discord during the beta process, we read all of the suggestions and inquiries that you make!

Questions about the leveling process? Here are some helpful tips:
- Sun +7 items are available for purchase in the Protector Trader NPCs
up to the 9th degree.
- 11th degree items with maxed STR & INT blues are available in the NPC located in Samarkand.
- Thanks to the given starter items, custom adjusted rate, and the intensity of the monster spawn,
it will take approximately 8 hours to reach max level.
- Low level monsters spawn infrequently, but in groups. Monster spawns are better after level 101 or higher.
- The amount of experience you will gain from normal uniques is
less than the amount of experience you can get by normal grinding. It would be more logical to level up directly by killing monsters (grinding) rather than slaying uniques.
All events will be activated on Saturday (one day after the opening)!
Nobody likes a tedious and difficult leveling process. For that reason, we have included an array of starter items that will assist you in a multitude of ways during your adventure within Rion!

Below is the basic information and basic statistics of Rion. From the rates, to the cap, you can see the exact values of what you're looking for here!
Silk:
You can get Silk by donating, defeating Uniques and from events and silk per hour system.
Gold:
Gold is a valuable resource in Rion. It can be used to purchase a variety of items. The main methods of obtaining gold are through trading and fortress war.
Gold Coin:
Gold Coins can be obtained from Job Uniques, Quests, Rion Boxes, Roc, and Medusa.
Rion Coin:
Most events and even monsters distribute Rion Coins in one way or another. Rion Coins are used for a variety of item purchases, so it is important to collect as many as possible!
Silver Coin:
Silver Coins can be obtained from Job Uniques and Holy Water Temple Uniques.
Job Coin:
Job Coins can be earned from Job Temple uniques, as well as jobbing (within the daily/weekly Jobbing Limit).
Magic POP Cards:
Obtained from Gold shop, Uniques, Pandora Event, Rion Box, FGW mobs and CTF.
Nobody likes a grinding war! It raises the time needed to reach the cap, and creates unneccessary tension. To avoid this, we have added the following Clone maps to minimize the slot problem of our valuable players.
Seal Of Nova: You will be able to get your Nova items as drops in Rion Online. All monsters above level 106 are set to drop approximately 1 nova item per day throughout the entire game.
Seal Of Sun (10dg): You probably aren't used to any degrees besides the highest one being relevant in any server... in Rion, this changes! Degree 10 sun weapons are quite powerful, and are a useful and viable alternative if you cannot afford or obtain nova items! Degree 10 sun items drop from all monsters level 92 and above.
Elixirs: Our Elixir drops are starting to drop in hard rate from 90+ mobs. It drops more easily from 106+ mobs than 90lv - 105lv mobs, but in general, the elixir drop is difficult. This ensures a stable economy with high value for even items of small significance, like elixirs!
NOTE: What we say throughout the game in general is that when you kill 50,000 mobs, 1 Nova item will be dropped throughout the game.
How to Obtain?:
Seal of Sun (10dg):
Obtainable from all 92+ game mobs and Magic POP.
Note: Sun items are balanced.
Seal of Nova (11dg):
Obtainable from all 106+ game mobs and Nova Box.
Nova Box will be activated on the 3th day of the game.
Power Weapon (Egy A):
Obtainable by completing the Hall of Worship (FGW) card collection.
Power Shield (Egy A):
Obtainable from the Egy Item Shop NPC for silver & gold coins.
Power Shield will be activated on the second week of the game, at a very low rate.
Immortality Set (Egy B):
Obtainable from the Egypt Item Shop NPC for silver & gold coins.
Legend Accessory Set (Egy B):
Obtainable from the Egypt Item Shop NPC for rion & gold coins.
Egypt items will be activated part by part, starting from the 2nd week.
Egyptian items are the final (end-game) items of the game. It will not be too easy to obtain them!
We know how fond the players are of jobbing activity. Jobbing is key to an active server, therefore, every decision made regarding jobbing must be carefully considered and deliberated on. Rion's trading routes were implemented to be the most competitive ones available.
On Rion's trading route, goods are purchased only from Donwhang. Goods are sold only to Bandit Special and Tarim Ferry Special NPCs. Bandit and Tarim Ferry NPCs cannot be used to purchase goods outside of the Special Hour.
Thieves will earn 50 million gold for every 5* they smuggle and sell. For special goods, this amount doubles to 100 million.
Hunters gold depends on the number of traders in their party carrying 5* goods.
When the special trade period begins, you will have 10 minutes to buy goods, and you can only buy goods once in that 10 minute period.
Goods cannot be purchased from Bandit and Tarim Ferry specialty trading NPCs outside of the Special time!
You will be rewarded with 2 points for each trade successfully sold/stolen/protected in Rion Online. The daily job point limit (highest amount of points you can earn per day) is 40 points.
When you reach the daily limit, you will be rewarded with 40 Job Coins and 20 Silks. (The rewards will be delivered to your chest.)
There are many ways to obtain honor points/honor buffs in Rion Online!
Last Man Standing:
Each kill grants 1 honor point.
Survival Arena:
Each kill grants you 1 honor point.
The maximum number of honor points you can obtain from the same player (per Survival match) is 3.
Capture the Flag:
You will obtain 10 honor points when you win a Capture The Flag match.
Battle Arena:
You can earn honor points from each match you win in Battle Arena.
Each type of Battle Arena gives a different amount of points.
RANDOM: 3 Honor Points.
PARTY: 10 Honor Points.
JOB: 15 Honor Points.
GUILD: 20 Honor Points.

JOB : 3 Honor Point.
GUILD : 3 Honor Point.
Job Kills grant you +1 Honor Point.
When you die (in Job Mode), you will lose -1 Honor Point.
You cannot receive honor points from an opponent who does not have honor points, and you can only get honor from the same player once in 8 hours.
The honor limit you can earn with job kills is 20 points.
You will not get bored while you're hunting uniques inside of the Holy Water Temple! We nerfed the uniques and set the drops same for every and each unique.
How about you jump in and test it!
We all know that the majority of the players do not care for the Shipreck FGW anymore; therefore, we've changed the Forgotten World in Rion to our own custom creation!
Hall of Worship(Jupiter) FGW has been added to Rion Online. Forgotten World will be enabled from the very first day of the server (day 1)!
Commander's Patch and Sereness' Tears (talismans) will be enabled on the 3rd week.
Power Weapon quest will be enabled at the end of the 3rd week as well!
(These dates are not finalized and may change according to server's economic status!)
In addition to collection card drops, in the Forgotten World, uniques and Envy monsters will also drop special items!
Commander's Patch and Sereness' Tears will be disabled for 15 days. Power Weapon quest will be enabled at the end of the 3rd week!
Amazing uniques are waiting for you in the battlefield! Find them across the map and hunt them down for exclusive items!
There are no limitations on uniques according to STR/INT classes. Everyone can attack these uniques.
Job Cave - the core of job activity outside of caravans. It's essential that this area and the uniques/monsters within contain valuable rewards, well worth the treacherous fights that will occur within.
We didn't want you to waste your valuable time walking all the way to the traditional Job Cave location, so we added repositioned the teleports to the Samarkand Teleporter!
We have also added customized valuable quests and drops to the Job Cave to ensure peak activity.
Prepare yourself for the massive job wars and unique fights which will occur inside of the Job Garden!
You can only enter with Job Suit to the Job Garden.
You can teleport to the Job Garden from Samarkand Teleporter.
We've added uniques for both STR/INT classes, so you can enjoy hunting uniques and taste the excitement a bit longer, not to mention destroying the obvious disparities between STR and INT builds in uniques...
When it comes down to the debate about being a skillful player, Medusa is always here to give you a chance to prove yourself! Get your parties ready and show them who is the real monster!
Rewards for the Medusa slayers are as followed:
You can teleport to the Medusa Room from Samarkand Teleporter!
Roc: the infamous beast which you all know and love. The most valuable and terrifying unique will spawn every Saturday at 23:00 (Server Time)...
Roc spawns only once weekly, making it by far the most competitive and worthiful unique within Rion. Fight to the death with this giant for its valuable rewards!
You can teleport to the Roc Room from Samarkand Teleporter! You need a Roc key to teleport inside.
You will be gaining 1 silk for each hour you stay online, but you need to reach to max level in order to gain silk.
HWID & IP Limit restriction is set to 1 in order to prevent abuse of this system.
You can teleport to this event area from the Samarkand Event Teleporter, and a notice will let you know when you can enter the event area!
There are no skill/berserk restrictions in this arena. You will be fighting to be Last Man Standing in this vicious battleground!
Each kill will grant you 1 honor point, and the one who survives and stands last (winner) gains special rewards!
You can teleport to this event area from the Samarkand Event Teleporter. A notice will let you know when you can enter the event area.
You will be fighting on your own in this arena. There are no friends, no allies, and no teams here... YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! Each kill will grant you honor points, and those within the top 5 kill ranking will receive special rewards!
You can teleport to this event area from the Samarkand Event Teleporter. A notice will let you know when you can enter the event area.
There will be rewards for the Unique Killer and Kill Ranking. Rewards will be sent to your Item Chest!
You can teleport to this event area from the Samarkand Event Teleporter. A notice will let you know when you can enter the event area.
There will be two uniques inside: Zielkiaxe[STR] and Babilion[INT]. You cannot form parties or join parties inside of the Solo Unique Room.
Rewards are as followed:
Capture The Flag is constantly overlooked and underestimated... we wanted to bring back its former glory, make some new excitement and reasoning to join the event... so, we've modified the rewards in a way in which they are extremely valuable!
You will receive 1x Magic POP Card for each kill made inside of CTF. The winning team will receive 10 Honor Points & 30 Rion Coins.
You can only use Grad Reverse as an EU res skill.
To prevent any abuse, you can only gain 2x Magic POP Cards from the same player (per CTF session).
Battle Arena will take place as Score (Party) and Flag (Random). Similarly to CTF, you can only use Grad Reverse as EU res skill.
Winners will receive 30 Rion Coins, and the losing team will receive 5 Rion Coins. Everyone wins!
Auto Events will take place every 6-8 hours.
More excitement and activity within the Job Cave? Yes please!
The Pandora Event will take place inside of the Job Cave.
In this event, 5 Pandora Boxes will spawn in four different rooms. You can kill the Pandoras by attacking them 12 times.
The main purpose of this event; finding the pandoras and hunting them before someone hunts you!
You can teleport to this event area from the Samarkand Event Teleporter. A notice will let you know when you can enter the event area.
You can not open the map in this area, you can't form/join parties, and you cannot use berserker mode.
You have to find and kill the Battle Golem to win the event!
You can teleport to this event area from the Samarkand Event Teleporter. A notice will let you know when you can enter the event area.
Similarly to the previous event: you can not open the map in this area, you can't form/join parties, and you cannot use berserker mode.
You have to find the [EventBot] and buy the item from his stall to win this event!
In order to win this event, you must successfully form a party with the same number as the one announced in the event notice.
Note: There is a delay for forming party to prevent abuse.
You can find the Quest Manager NPC at Samarkand for Rion's new and custom quests.
You must have premium in order to complete these quests.
To prevenet abuse, the HWID limit for completing these quests has been set to 1.
Astral Stone Quest
In order to complete this quest, you must slay a certain number of monsters within the Job Temple (specified in the quest description). The reward is: 3x Astral Stones.
Immortal Stone Quest
In order to complete this quest, you must slay a certain number of monsters within the Job Temple (specified in the quest description). The reward is: 3x Immortal Stones.
Random Map Uniques Quest
This quest will give you a small amount of alchemy materials to assist you on your starting journey.
This quest is not repeatable and can only be completed once!
Holy Water Temple Quest
You can complete the quest by collecting Egypt God Blood quest item from unique drops inside of the Holy Water Temple. Rewards are elixirs of all types.
Sylakenth (Gold Coin) Quest
This quest will allow you to attain Gold Coins from simply botting! This quest is NOT repeatable, but you will be rewarded with 1x Gold Coin upon completing the quest!
After all Egyptian items are released and purchasable, this quest will be modified to repeatable.
We will add more quests in the mid-game and late-game stages of the server!
Let's talk about Magic POP System! Many people have the preconceived notion that Magic POP is "pay2win..." but Rion has totally flipped that theory!
You can obtain several silk items from Magic POP Cards. Magic POP Cards can be only dropped/bought for gold from the miner NPC. You cannot buy Magic POP Cards from the Item Mall (F10) or any other Silk shops!
Upon losing, the reward is still useful! Your cards do not go to waste whatsoever!
The Magic POP system will be implemented and enabled during the mid-game stage.
We know how hard it is to balance both races... even with thinking it through numerous times, no balance is perfect...
However, we think that the maximum balance that can be achieved is done in Rion Online!
In order to avoid skill bug/animation abuse, we have disabled certain skills in event areas. It's all about the fair gameplay at Rion!
What is a server without unique features? We do not want to be another traditional copypaste server... Rion is extraordinary, consistently going above and beyond to threaten our competition.

Since the Jangan Cave was converted to an event area, we've added the necessary monsters for the title quests to the Tomb instead..
You can buy Ultimate Job Suits in exchange for Job Coins and gold.
These exclusive Job Suits have been added to the Gold Shop NPC in Samarkand to even further the value and worth of these currencies.
You will start with Skill Lv.I as suit buff, your suit buff will level up to Lv.II upon resetting your job level 10 times at lv7.
Use Job Level Reset Scroll.
Reminder: Nova Box will be enabled at 3th day of the game. That means, you can obtain Nova Boxes, but you can't open them!
Worry not about suspicious item appearances... after Nova Boxes are enabled, upon success, receiving any nova item will be announced globally to the entire server!
The already insanely competitive uniques... let's take it a step further, shall we? How about we introduce EVEN MORE competition for Medusa and Roc?
New character name tags will be granted to the Medusa and Roc killers! Upon a new killer being announced the next day/week, your tag will be removed and transferred to the new unique slayer! Now, you can taut your success to the entire server at any given moment!

You can change the gender of your Devil's Spirit, Avatars and GDFs with Rion's Special Gender Switcher. You can only obtain this scroll from Rion Box!
We've added a new ranking system to Rion! This will ease your concern about who is the highest in which individual category. Check with a few clicks in-game!
Top Donators now have a chance to show off their worth, they will be listed here.
It works with only Maxicard donations at the moment!
Top 50 Characters that donated the most will be listed here!
Top Event Winners will be listed here.
Top Killers will be listed here.
In order to keep jobbing consistently active and competitive, we have made some modifications to the Job Rank.
You can now purchase some exclusive items with Job Points!
You will be receiving 1 Job Point for each kill in job mode. Selket, Neith, Anubis and Isis kills will additionally grant you 15 Job Points.
You will receive 4 Job Points for each trade goods that you sell/trade/rob, and you will receive 7 points from special goods.
You will receive 10 Job Points upon completing a Job level reset.
Show off your powerful gear! This ranking will be synchronized with the website. Top 50 players with the most item points will be listed here!
Is your guild the greatest and most powerful amongst Rion? Provie it! This guild ranking will be working synchronized with the website. Top 20 guilds with the most item points will be listed here.
Fortress War will take place in Hotan Fortress, at 21:00 Server Time
The war will last 1.5 hours (ending at 22:30 server time).
Registration will be enabled until 20:00 on Sunday.
Rewards for the Fortress War will be announced before the fortress war, depending on player's participation.
Kill Counter will be enabled in this area.
