Just started out today after a 8 year break from SRO, will see how things feel now since I got a bit of nostalgia. Should I make a gap to farm skill points in this server while we have the auto equipment? or are the level 40-50-60 kind of quests enough to carry you through to level 71 skills?

Well, for the SP hustle, you can get SP from the Potion NPC Level Quests (Lv 1, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60) Each one will give you a specific amount of Skill Points. You also can take the CTF and Battle Arena Daily quests which also gives SP. After hitting Lv 80, there will be 2 daily quests, each will give you 13k SP. Which is enough for you. You don't have to make gap, just get into level 80 straight.
