INTRO
Our version of a perfect server. So much time was invested into developing and implementing features into OldSquad to create the perfect old school and enjoyable server. We spent hours and hours testing every single feature we implemented into our game. We strive to become one of the best private Silkroad servers ever created. We've implemented many features to provide the players with best game play and extreme excitement and to make sure that no one get's bored playing while playing OldSquad. We've based the server on extreme jobbing and questing, and we've also made unique hunting very important.

We're offering you the best 100 cap server out there! We plan to make sure that OldSquad exceeds your imagination! Our team is very cooperative, very helpful, friendly and most importantly adults. We grew up playing Silkroad. As of right now there is no server that can provide you with the best game play features to bring those old school feelings back. None other than OldSquad!

OUR GOAL
Our main goal is to be able to provide you with the best long-term system and features! We are also going to update every once in a while with new features to refresh the game play and to keep the server even more alive and active! Just as we've been working silently and improving our game even further, we'll always be working in the background and looking for ways to improve OldSquad even more!. We listen to every suggestion, feel free to post any suggestion you have!

BETA & OPENING
We spent most of our time developing in a closed beta phase with very limited and selected people. The next phase is going to be the open beta and we are going to need you guys to test our awesome and cool features that we've implemented into OldSquad. The next phase is going to be what you guys do best and that's test out every single feature! And informing us with what bugs you face and everything that might bring trouble later during the official game play! Please continue reading to understand our server features better!

We strongly apologize for releasing the THREAD late.Beta even started,and you all are welcome to join our beta testing for few more days, and of course our journey which is starting at 21.05 20:00 GMT+2 time.

Cap 100 | CH Only
OldSquad is mainly based on the original old silkroad cap 100, ofcourse without the european race to make the players more focused on the game-play instead of balancing both races which is impossible, the server was intended to be long server, so you don't have to bother yourself moving from a server to another, in OldSquad you will feel the nostalgia of the real silkroad. You will see gold bots, people thrilled to collect gold, stall, sell and buy items! This is a new experience.

Exp Ratio | 20x
The reason we picked this particular rate is, we don't want people to get max level in few hours. Still leveing up is one of the most entertaining systems of SRO, specially when everyone is racing for the first max leveler.

Party Exp Ratio | 25x
To encourage people to make parties, make new friends. We decided we increase the party exp. Not that much boost but enough to encourage players.

Drop Item Ratio | 5x
Since we having a reasonable exp rates, we had to adjust the items drop rate also. We picked the 5x drop rate because we believe its the most suitable rate for this particular rates.

Drop Gold Amount | 1x
We having a job based, old school server. So we had to keep the gold drop rate 1x same as iSRO, this way people will have to do job activities in-order to get gold.

● Start items
To boost you in at the beginning of your journey, we decided to give you some useful items potions, speed scroll, grab pet and fast return scroll. Those items will be very helpful to you in the grinding phase. Also you will be spawning with sos items, it will be automatically upgraded till the 8th degree with FB 61% stats.

● How to obtain SOX items
At the start of your journey, you will be facing a lot of merciless monsters, you will start grinding to collect 10th-degree normal items (levels 90-99) to fight tooth and nail to reach level 100, then, you will aim for the seal of star gear which is gained by killing normal monsters with a low rate.

• You can obtain SOS from Crates which are dropped from Uniques, and also from winning first place in Survival Arena.
• You can also obtain SOS from Lv 100 mobs (Drops only Set parts with Low rate).
• You can purchase SOM (Set Parts & Accessories) from NPC with Arena Coins + Activity Points.
• You can get SOM Weapon from Forgotten World only.
• All SUN Gear are disabled for now.

● Forgetten world
We know how fun the forgotten world is, so we decided to enable this thrilling great system, you will be able to obtain moon weapons by collecting the 8 talismans. the rates are the same as original silkroad. We don't want players to get end gear weapon in the first couple weeks ofcourse, good luck collecting the talismans.

● Jobbing in OldSquad
We having the same original old school jobbing system, nothing new except the rewarding system, you will be receiving activity points by delivering 5* trades whether you are thief, hunter or trader. We also have adjusted the slots of the COS to make it easier to load and unload it. And keep in mind that we have a limit for trading per day which is (18 Trade per Day). After reaching your limit, you will be getting only 50% of your original reward, and no activity points.

Job Suits
Job suits wasn't really useful in the iSRO, so we decided to give you a reason to upgrade your job level. For each level of your job, you can wear a new special job suit, each suit has its own unique stats. The higher job level you get, the higher stats you will be getting.

Job Slaughtering
Job will not be only trading and stealing goods, because for each kill you will get honor points and wanted points.

Wanted System
For each kill in job mode, you will obtain 1 wanted point when you reach certain points, you will get wanted buff. But remember, if you got killed you will lose all points. The points must be in streak. Remember that the buff duration is 8 hours only!

Honor Buff
As we will describe in the thread, you will be getting honor points from capture the flag opponents kills, and also you will be getting honor points from job killing. But, keep in mind that you will be getting 2 maximum points from each player every 24 hours.

● Capture the flag
Capture The Flag is one of the most entertaining systems in the history of Silkroad, It has a persistent duel which grabs our attention, we remember playing this event since we were Lv 20, killing other opponents and capturing the flag to get the Activity Points and exchanging them for great rewards!

• Each kill you will receive 1 Arena Coin + 1 Honor Point.
• Winners team will receive 5 Arena Coins + 10 Activity Points, losers will receive non.
• Remember, being afk for more than 90 seconds will disconnect you!

● Battle Arena
Battle Arena is one of the most entertaining systems in the history of Silkroad, It has a persistent duel which grabs our attention, we remember playing this event since we were Lv 20, killing other opponents stealing flag or getting the highest score tow in the arena coins..

• Battle arena will be Random (Score) Only.
• Winners team will receive 15 Arena Coins
• Losers team will receive 5 Arena Coins
• Remember, being afk for more than 90 seconds will disconnect you!

● Survival Arena
Survival Arena is one of the most entertaining and fun systems in Silkroad, it really shows the skills and experience of each individual. Everyone wants to prove that he is the best by killing the most players and getting the rank #1 in the survival; thus, we decided to add cool rewards to encourage all players to enter the arena. For each kill you will be getting 1 activity coin.
Note: You can kill each player 3 times only, more than that you won't be receiving any coins.

• #1 will receive 100 silk + 3 Magic pop Cards + 1x SOS Crate.
• #2 will receive 70 Silk + 2 Magic Pop Cards.
• #3 will receive 50 Silk + 1 Magic Pop Card.

● Godsend Skills
Skill Points were really valuable and useful in Silkroad, but nowadays nobody gives attention to the skill points since almost all servers gives tons of SP, so we have decided to make it valuable and useful and so, we added the GodSend skills which requires tons of Skill Points to be opened.
Each Skill Requires 10m Skill Points, you can farm up to 6m SP per day through daily quests (Dungeon Quests + Job Cave Quests. Visit Quest NPC in Donwhang)

● Magic Pop
Everyone knows how fun Magic Pop is, so our thought was into brining it back to life by adding it in OldSquad! Ofcourse with some modifications. The biggest struggle was obtaining the Cards, because if we left it at item mall only, we will be killing the game with the pay2win game. SO, we added the cards to some uniques drops to let everyone have a chance to get magic pop cards.

  Mission: Kill Roc 1 Time.

  Mission: Kill Medusa 1 Time.

  Mission: Hunt (Kidemonas - Khullood - Karkadann) 1 Time.

  Mission: Hunt 1000 Priest of Punishment & Imhotep.

● Uniques
Dancing on the uniques' graves are the best experience that every Silkroad player wishes to have, It's the place where you feel your grandeur by killing the boss of the area, and for being fair, we have added some STR uniques for the STR players, These uniques are generally more difficult to defeat and you will be dicing with death the moment you enter their area, that's why we have added an amazing reward which will be given after the Uniques meet their sticky end.

● New NPCs
In OldSquad, we managed to add a new shops that has so many option for the players, like titles npc, activity points dealer, coins exchanger, avatars dealer and our special shop. And let's not forget the Quests SHOP that you can find many daily quests that gives silk and Skill Points needed for the Godsend skills.

Well there is a lot ways to obtain free silks, one of them is killing uniques for sure.. Also from few quests, survival arena and a lot of auto events like H&S, S&D, trivia.. Etc
