Imo, mirror dimension is a very nice spot for solo leveling when you are chinese for exemple. Baby lions hit very hard, but if you move further away, temple soldier are okey and there is almost nobody leveling there (at least, when I was there).

I think uniques are in the cave. Only mobs are not. But yes, I don't understand why they took away mobs from the cave, now it looks just like an empty useless place.
