Case of SRO World vs Paypal has been closed.
Those who do not understand why the server was closed here is why.
Paypal was contacted by Joymax stating we were using there copyrighted game and receiving money for it. In the state of Arkansas, you can only be sued if you are using anything copyrighted and earning profit. However, paypal won this case. Later, when the server was offline, they tried to sue me again for $3000 in chargebacks. I fought and it was settled I pay $1000 to cover it, as some chargebacks came 2+ months after account closing. Joymax can no longer harm SRO World, as we are legalized in the USA, based out of Bentonville, Arkansas. However, we can not accept more than $4000 a month at any given month, as long as using anything copyrighted by Joymax. However, Joymax Copyright for Silkroad Online ends in May of 2013. Yes, May of 2013, at least for the USA. This does not speak for all of the others who have purchased liscense, for instance the company running Viet Nam.

--The game has been modified enough for legalization, therefore is untouchable for being sued before the copyright ends.

We are completely customizing the game, as the game is old and is starting to die, we want to re-invent silkroad, not copy everyone else. Also a note to servers out there, be careful, because joymax will attack you if they get a chance, as they are dieng completely with Silkroad. They have been easier on people as they are making more money now with the update they came out with.
