was that towards me? That only fixes the DirectX issue.
My client still crashes through the launcher but i can now launch with silkmod etc

u are usind windows vista or higher ?!

try this: Create a shortcut of Silkroad.exe on your desktop, rightklick on it, choose "compatibility" and klick on windows xp. Safe and enjoy.
If this is not working , i will try to solve, and tell you how to...

I know attentaeta allrdy posted this for the DirectX problem but its not quite what i would do.



Just change compatability mode in your SRO Directory for the launcher, if you still get problems then do it for the SRO_Client too.
Also run as admin!
