you have to place all your silkroad private in your silkroad folder in oder to see the letter...

First of all,it has nothing to do with letters.

Second,you don't have East Asian languages installed and you're getting those [] instead of Chinese letters.

Third,to make your game English,use loader for your private sro.

If you're playing on SUNWORLD SRO (aka SWSRO)/SJSRO/MYSRO use this loader:
