I am an old Silkroad player. When I joined back to see what servers there are, I felt overwhelmed. It was extremely hard to find what I wanted, as there was no real overview. Every server was split into so many different things, features were listed in long long threads and I had to search through multiple forums to find what I wanted.

This is the first version of SRO Servers now! We want to change that. Our goal is to have a list of servers which is active, has all the basic features outlined and will offer additional descriptions and activity checks in the future.

Features

Server Overview
You can get a direct overview of currently available servers. This includes a short and great list with the name of the server, the current cap, available races and launch date. It also lists features the server offers, which we plan to extend within the next few days. Currently it shows:

• Bots Allowed: Players can use bots
• Open Market: You can sell items for real life money
• Progressive: The server is slowly adding more and more content
• Silk per Hour: You gain silk per hour for playing

If you feel like there is a feature missing in the server overview, feel free to let us know! I'm happy to add it ASAP so we can make it easier for players.

Discord Integration
If you are on our server, you can subscribe to our #new-servers announcement channel and post the newest servers directly to your guild or group Discord!

SOON: ONLINE CHECK!
One of the biggest issues with servers is that once they go offline, they still have their thread up and you may read through everything, but you end up nowhere as the server went offline. We are working on an online check which connects to the gateway service and checks if the client is still online. If you are a server owner and want to add this feature, feel free to let us know on Discord!



I'd be more than happy to get more feedback from players and server owners alike, of whats important to you, what you think could be important in the future, whats definitely needed.

Also big thanks to @ for guiding me into the right direction for protocol information in regards to gateway service handling and encoding for a potential soon upcoming playerlist!

Appreciate it! Feel free to leave any feedback. I'm currently in contact with the first server owners to get activity checks implemented as well, so we can remove servers which went offline for a longer period of time automatically.

Addes SRP! We are still quiet new, while we run some servers already it'll probably take like 1-2 weeks to get everything fully in.

I love the design, its very good actually and I found Ruby there, which I thank you for.

I have some suggestions you might consider to improve the website:

• Search / Filter servers by cap/race/features etc
• Avoid featured advertisement that costs money, you need traffic.
• Make a vote 4 system and let people be able to create their own accounts and add their own servers. Limit 1 server per account
• Change featured to most voted / most loved etc
• Add server page, on clicking server name, it redirects to a page related post where ppl can edit on their accounts. Maybe use an image for server information, logo etc.
• Make a forum where ppl can discuss

SP / Stats calculator is getting asked often in low exp server, such tools would be amazing

For me, its very important that its simple and understandable. If there arent any nonsense pop-up ads or splash ads from 2005, I'll keep using this regularly.

First of all, I appreciate the extended feedback! To come back to you on a few points:

Filters
100% I agree. Will definitely include this is one of the upcoming versions. Technically the filter for races is already in there (by using the tabs at the top)

Featured Advertisements + Traffic
We do have quiet a decent chunk of traffic already, considering its only a few days old. ElitePVPers isn't the only forum it was advertised on, also in different SRO communities and Discords, slowly getting the name around. As of right now, we do have around 30 unqiue users a day already, which summed up a month is a decent chunk already.

In regards to the ads: Well, at the end of the day, this is a hobby project. I am paying 8€ a month for the VPS and 10€ per year for the domain, which totals to around 110€ a year. I had a silkroad servers AGES ago and lets be honest, most server owners do make a good chunk of money with those servers.

I do have a few of those side projects and one of these isn't an issue, but having 5 of them already sums up to a good 400€ a year. This is why I'd like to work together with server owners to give them the option to advertise or feature their server, especially now when we start through for a discount, to cover those costs. 100€ and the costs are covered for the next 12 months and I don't need to worry about anything, which is why I decided to go with that option. This secures the project and the costs, while giving server owners the option to invest into their servers (and the future of it over longterm if wanted) as well as back into the community.

If a server owners wants to support the project long-term in that regard (and also the community) I am more than happy to work with them and also have a really nice source of traffic for them for the upcoming months.

Make a vote 4 system
I want this page to be free from voting, simple reason: The vote for feature puts those servers to the top, which already do have a big community. New and upcoming ones may not get a chance. Without a voting people have an unbiased look at it (well, the featured servers maybe, but thats simply to cover project costs!). So voting will not be included.

Account creation and server management
Good idea! Same as with the filters, will definitely get to work on this so everybody can technically add their own server if they want to. Makes it a lot easier on my part as well.

Server detail page
Also a good idea, would need to have an description and everything then. I'll probably make this as a popup though, so everything can be kept on one page cleanly. But I do like the idea. Will probably add this soon as well!

Forum
A forum is not planned. We do have the discord server (), however the nature of the page in itself is pretty "no-community" like, aka there is no huge community. It is more like a marketplace between users and server owners. As long as I keep contact with those 2 groups, we should be fine. I do like Discord more than forums as well. There will probably never be a huge community around the site, due to the nature of it. Can only be measured by traffic at the end of the day.

It is an interesting idea, however I believe it does not fit into the concept of the site, so I'd put this on the backburner for now. Also I do believe some servers have modded the skills these days, which would mean that required SP may be different, or is it still the same as back then?

Definitely not. Thats also not what I am planning to add. First and foremost this is a hobby project. If people are interested in supporting it (e.g. covering costs and base development time) I am always happy to accept donations, or in that case, servers can also get their server featured (aka always on top of the list). Thats the only thing in terms of "ads" or "annoyance" there will be, as this is first and foremost a project for the players.

At the end of the day I'm sure I'll find some server owner who wants to support their own server as well as the overall community who'll feature their server and support the project that way!

From first glance, I see several servers with incorrect information regarding opening dates and even NAMES (Sailor "PERSION" Empire opened September 7th 2025???? - Sailor PERSIAN Empire opened on December 13th, 2024).

Before worrying about suggestions for the future, I'd worry about being able to input data into tables correctly xD

Hey, thank you for the heads up! Not sure what suggestions have to do with legitimate human mistakes.

I changed the name and the opening date (the opening date was indeed a bug I had to fix when entering a server through the admin panel as it by accident set it to default on the current day).

I usually jump into the servers discord after some time to make sure the information on there is correct (or in the forums or on Reddit). Unfortunately especially those guys you questioned gladly denied the service, so it never got re-checked and they just instantly said no interest. Not much I can do here. I still want to list them for everybody though.

I also went through the names to see if I can find any other mistakes where I did not see any. Not all servers do have their opening date listed as well, which is why it may differ a few days from the original one (on older servers, new servers usually have theirs listed). What I go by:

- Check for opening date on the topic in the forum
- If not available, use the beta opening date
- If also not available, check for a countdown/information on their website
- If also not available, use the topic date as release date

That's how we determine release date, so for certain servers if they didn't publicly list it beforehand it might be off by a few days.

Please let me know which of the several other servers do have issues with them and I am more than happy to fix them ASAP!

Thanks for the feedback! I do currently check the servers every 2 weeks. Eventually I hope we can get all of them into an online status check, this will take some time though and work together with the server owners.

Unfortunately the whole scene isn't really player-friendly. A lot of owners do not share any information, are extremely unresponsive or not helpful at all to let players know more, even though you can see they fake 6k players on their site.
