How to fix DirectX error?:/

I reinstalled it 3times and i did put all downloads in my old ecsro folder, but it still gives the directx error when i wanna start it. It also wont go away when i restore the 'infected' file with antivirus. Can someone help me? Ty.

this has been answered several times!!!

ricght-click the silkroad.exe, select proprietys, on the "compatibility" tab select the compatibility mode and select windows xp sp2/3 in the list!

I only got windows pack 5, 98, 2000/mt, and vista and all wont work... T_T

Maybe just try to run sro with administrator rights
