It could be difficult. But I think the US government will eventually track him down... I mean he isn't like Osama Bin Laden or anything. It's just a matter of time before they take the real person to court.
if they arent able to track down the no. 1 Enemy of the State, how they gonna want to find a copyright suer which is charged for 0,000018% of the US GDP... belive me they dont give a ****...

Well that's the other thing. This is a civil case between a company and an individual. So it just depends on the one filing the charges. If Joymax decides to give up then done. If they decide to continue then they continue to try to get Ocean. It isn't really even the government since Joymax can just drop the charges at any given time. Plus Osama is consider the number one enemy because he managed to kill 3k+ peeps in one attack. There are groups like Peta that has cause much more damage and terrorist attacks. But this is just a matter of Joymax's determination and I agree with you. Joymax might give up half way.

my belive is:
they stated a hilliarious amount of money for some private persons, especially the german hoster which must had a shock of his live getting the papers of the lawyer and reading the numbers...
so actually case done.
site is off, servers off, swsro on life time update... everything back in normal order
if you take a look at the business report of joymax for the couple of last years... 2,5 m $ ... peanuts.

Yup. That amount of money is outrageous to say the least. But there has already been cases here such as a women got sued for downloading 10 or so songs. Each song was worth like $100,000. She had to eventually filed bankruptcy. So now the RIAA has stopped pressing charges on people all together. Because it's an outrageous amount. I think the thing that Joymax really wants is to confiscate the server files. Since this case isn't like a WOW case. The files are as plentiful and the situation is easier to contain. Just what I think anyways. Great debate that we're having. I really enjoyed it.

Hmm... I won't agree on that part, but it's not a place to talk about that
