CONTABO ITS GOOD CHOICE FOR SRO SERVER?

I heard s..t* about contabo DDoS protection, i told em about that, they said recently have developed a new security anti ddos system called "IN-HOUSE DDOS PROTECTION", becouse theyre customers has suffered for this, someone knows if it is good? for a secured vsro server.

I think I read more resentment from and not own experience with their new protection system? I want specific answer, bc as i said they have developed that system recently, so if u suffered ddos with old system i need info about this new system.

No it's not at all, this company is the worst company I've ever seen, I've lost my money, my time, their servers completely goes crazy if under attack like connection drop (you can't access your vps through rdp), server files won't launch for failed to certificate and will be back to work again after 1-2 hours and during work you'll face a lot of connection timeouts you'll receive this idiot message (connection timed out retrying..) on the remote desktop connection app.

sounds like you can't setup a server

yes their "new" ddos protection kinda works
but then again, this is a $20 server i wouldn't count on their protection

their "ddos protection" is not new they're just upgrading after a lot of complaints
their customer support is the fucking best
they will do anything and i mean anything for you to be satisfied
that's a + but it doesn't help with the shit protection they provide

last time i used them for a private server (not sro) was a month ago i have since moved to OVH because i had the money for it so why not
we did get attacked and the server didn't go down
multiple times
but it did in fact affect the game and it was lagging like hell for a few minutes

if you have the money for OVH just go for it please
get a 16gb GAMESERVER from OVH or even 32gb if you have plans on using that much memory

or just go with contabo for a month until you have the money for OVH but just please don't stick with contabo for a game

EDIT1: connection doesn't timeout for me
it happened back when i used the trash version of their vps the ones with 2 cores
if you're buying from contabo go for the ssd 4 cores servers
15 euros for 8 gb with windows is cheap

Thank you B1Q u the best, well finally i will buy soyoustart, ovh supporter told me that soyoustart and ovh has same quality protection, so i finally i decided.

Im glad if u have skype or discord to talk a few minutes about these themes. If u´re free obviously hehe. (Y)

Whenever is gonna be problem with the server and they have to make an intervention they charge 20 euros and they remind you that everytime in emails.
Also dont expect high quality dedicated.

However OVH, they are professional and you can reach them 24/7 and they are very helpfull.

And everytime your server needs an intervention, they act very quick and they never charge nothing.

Contabo also charge Server Setup around 40 euros, OVH free.

Some OVH servers are dispatched in 120 seconds, Contabo 2-3 days and more...
