The Client is Public Content which they provide for Public use, you can use it to whatever extent but you can not 'deface' it.

didnt someone mention blizzard tried sueing for wow private servers and failed? and they are a bigger company.

and just filing the lawsuit against ecsro cost $350. so if they wanted to sue 100 private servers it would cost $35,000 and thats just filings let alone other costs.

What he is saying is, they give us the client, it is as much their property as it is ours, we can do what ever we want with it as long as it doesn't give us an advantage over another player.

Any file that they give us, we can do whatever we want with it, as long as we don't have an unfair advantage over anyone. So I am saying any file.

Actually as Eckoro said ...

An emulator is your own, it's not official and not created by Joymax.
Howoever server files are. But i think that was clear already.

Now, as long as you don't modify their files there is not much they can do.
Like if you code a new launcher, it modifies the memory ( most of the time ).
Modifying the memory is 100% legal, as we don't touch the game files.

What ECSRO also did, was edit the PK2 files, wich again isn't allowed as they were made by joymax, and you may not edit them.

Just to be clear : adding files to your Silkroad folder isn't modifying the game client.

Well public or not it's still their copyrighted so you couldn't modify it.

Ugye először a serverek álltak le. Nem az oldal.
A sok event és bug miatt a server egy elég nagy problémába ütközött.
Nem részletezem mik sérültek.

Infók:

Az oldal azaz a .

Az oldal tulajdonosának azaz a P-masternak gondjai akadtak a hosterrel. Azaz a webserverszolgálltatóval. (mondjuk neki mindenkivel gondja van Big Grin)
Mivel a serverek le vannak állva , így úgy döntött , hogy itt az idő az újításra.
Gyorsabb , nagy tárhely lesz. Elméletileg a regisztráció és a PW váltás is ki lesz javítva.

A serverek:

Ahogy mondtam , a server crashelt. Először is egy server hardver resetet csinálnak. Az adatbázist fixálják. Mivel ezt csak 1 ember tudja így elég sokág tart.
Nekem 5 napot mondtak. DE EZ AZ ECSRO TEAM Tongue Ha 5 napot mondanak az lehet 1 hónap vagy 1 hét netán 6 nap.
Szóval kérlek legyetek türelemmel.

Hangsúlyozom !

NINCS VÉGE AZ ECSRO-nak !

Túl sok pénzt hoz Tongue Nem érdemes leállítani !

Szóval , nézegessétek a - ot. Én mindig írom ha van valami. + Én igazt mondok....

igazság a joymaxtól. :

A joymax beperelte az ecsro-t 350$ra. Amit most ocean fellebbezett.
Azért is van zárva.

The ecsro team having a problem with the lot of event&bugs.

The website:
The website owner had problems with the hosting,now they will search a faster,and newer hosting & the register+PW changing will be corrected.

The servers:
The server is crashed.They will do a hardver reset on servers,database fix,but it can do only 1 people so it will take a lot of time.They said 5 days, but it can be more....

IS NOT THE END OF ECSRO!!

It bring a lot of money..




Postscript:
The truth about the joymax:
the joymax sued ecsro for 350$.Ocean appealed,this 1 reason why they are closed.
