SR_GameServer could not connect to DB

Hi guys,

I've moved over from KalOnline Development to Silkroad Online Development. This is the first time I'm trying to get a private server up for Silkroad Online.

I'm using Qivin-X files and I'm stuck at the SR_GameServer.exe. Everything else is running fine but the SR_GameServer.exe is giving me an error: "Could not connect to DB" and then closes.

I'm sure the ini files are correct cause the SR_ShardManager.exe can connect to the DB.

I hope someone can help me out here.

Did you extracted the Data.pk2 and the extracted folder are in gameserver's root folder?

i didn't tried Qivin-X files but i think its based on Srzor file. so you've to search for "cfg" folder its located in your server files then edit sql.ini file with your SQL information .

check if you have the Data Folder in your folder files
and check this folder wwwroot if you DBconnect is correct

check (Source,Catalog,user ID,password)

As he said, the Shardmanager connected. So it's data folder issue or SrZor ini files.

Make Sure That Database Names In ini , SrZor Is The Same As Database
If It's Ok Try To Change Server.cfg Then Test

because if the problem show in-game server dos box the fix in sarzor fil
but if it in game server box the problem with inn file
