Payments are declared inside the gameserver, as it goes:
1 for gold,
2 for silk,
4 for gift silk,
...
64 for copper coin,
128 for iron coin,
256 for silver coin,
512 for gold coin,
and 1024 for arena coin

Our "owning src without any clue what to do with it"-owners could add a new payment device, but I guess they will fail anyways upon doing so.

i've never tried adding a new payment device before. but changing a coin to suit your needs is a temporary solution too...

No, I have no idea how to add- declare etc etc it.
I added new lines in sharddb but it didnt work.
I can just suggest you to change the name of cooper/iron/silver/gold coin into the new payment coin that you wanna add and change the way how to obtain it as you wish, got me?

all of payment device in my server is used

if you're good with php, you could code your own webmall with custom payment methods, basically executing _ADD_ITEM_EXTERN whenever needed, or _ADD_ITEM_EXTERN_CHEST/CHEST_FAST (if you want to prevent 2h+shield bug)
