[Serious] What went wrong on Silkroad caps?

Hello,

I wanted to make this post to discuss what went wrong with Silkroad.

Please don't talk about the obvious that is Joymax was greedy.

I'm talking in terms of for example:

Cap 110 brought so much stuff to the table, for example, job temple, forgotten world, and a lot of stuff.

Then cap 120 just seemed to forget about the job temple theme, or the forgotten world, and went full silk mode, you had to pay to do alchemy, and so on... jupiter uniques also felt unrewarding, so people just botted until 120.

Cap 120 seemed kinda underwhelming comparing to cap 110.

So, what do you guys think that went wrong on each cap?

What could be perfected?

I think chilliad is right, I also share the idea that they forget features, instead of finding ways to upgrade them into current caps, anything you felt that is also making newer caps seem underwhelming?

Well that's the biggest mistake they did. That's what went wrong

They never cared about the players suggestions nor the issues the servers had. (Bots and the Lag issue)

You expect a bit of professionalism of a company which is in the stock market. Even private servers these days can handle a server better then Joymax did their whole career.

Laziness and zero fcks given is the issue that killed Silkroad

All the features they've added after Cap and cap were perfectly fine. Then they started to change the game into a complete Pay2Win and we're back on greediness of Joymax.

Short summary: The company & their work on communicating and keeping the server alive is what went wrong

I completely agree, but I gotta say that some of the content released felt underwhelming when compared to the previous content.

For example, jupiter temple vs job temple + forgotten world

Jupiter temple feels unrewarding on my opinion (much because they wanted to be greedy), because the upgrade system is actually good.

But what happens if you are level 120 and need an egy A or B to upgrade?

You can't do FGW since it's level 110-, so you are pretty much screwed...

Once upon a time there was a trader, he was trading in peace zen came the evil thief and robbed hiz camel, camel died, he sad! He go grind becuz he wants revenge, he grind and grind and grind...... and grid xD he find sos, he so cool, he go grind more because he needs stones and elixirs to get his uberkrall weapon to kill that thief.
