New here, small questions

Hi all,

I'm new here on the Private SRO section, and I became interested in testing those p.servers, but I got some small problems:
My internet link is low band, 500kbps, so it's hard to download all those clients around the forum just to test the games.

I got now the 1.217 and 1.150 versions. What I want to know is:

1. Is there a small patch for those versions to run in private servers? (Like in L2, that u just download the system folder to switch from servers)

2. Are those versions capable to run private SRO? Or do I have to download whole clients?

its better to download whole clients because the files u need switch are almost the client itself and if u download full client its like 50mb larger file or so and also u can be sure u dont mess anything

but anyway if u wanna play ecsro and swsro u can just switch the data + media + particles pk2 files then you are ready to go

(i myself have 9 silkroad clients installed)

I guess you might need to download the clients that they use , depend on which psro you wanna play ..

Is there any direct download link? Instead rapidshare or megaupload?
RS an MU are blocked in my office, so I can't dld from those sites.

Any help is wellcome.

i downloaded it from directlink it must be around in psro section try search a bit

but anyway if i rememer right that one had some glitch and i wasnt able to start the game but i may be wrong i forgot which one had the bug the one on mu or the direct linked one

anyway if u find a direct link you could also share it with me

You only need to download that 2 part client and download this sro_client.exe+ media.pk2 from those links to make it work:

- ECSRO SRO_CLIENT.exe

It took me about 14 hours to download from this link


But it seems it's outdated because it gives me an error when I try to load the client.
What do I need to download for this version work?
I'm a bit tired of searching direct downloads or files =/

meh, it was easier before ecsro added 10d, and new skills, sjsro and ecsro were the same versions so u just needed to change the pk2s(or the ips by pk2 editing), but u just need to dl the whole client to change ur server.....
