Still looking for PServer PK Edit tools/Single server Media.pk2

I have been looking for either of these 2 options forever. Nobody will answer me in the "ask the experts" section. I have tried the PK2 tools that I found using search, but apparently they only work for the ISRO version? When I use them it corrupts my PK2 files.

Since there are so many PK2 edits for all private servers I know there is some way to edit PK2's for the private servers.

My request here is either of the following:

1: Working PK2 editor for SJSRO(or all pservers)
2: REGULAR media.pk2 file(no fancy edits) with only the New Server on it. So when I launch sro it goes straight to the "Start" button, and I don't have to select the server manually.

Pk2 Tools is the only one which works.

Your just **** at it that's why it corrupts.

How can I be **** at it? Everybody does it the same **** way, there really is no way one user can run a program different then another. You load a file and push a ******* button, how can I be shittier at doing that then you?

and yes pk2 tools is the only pk2 editer i know that u do it all all on your own

maybe you can hex edit im not sure

you need some special pk2 tools for ecsro / swsro if your trying on one of these.... go to

and search for SWSRO pk2 tools and you´ll find it

why do you assume I havn't searched for them already. obviously i cant find them or i wouldnt post this thread. the pk2 tools i have just corrupt the files.

can somebody just take the media.pk2 that i have and edit out the second division? i just want it auto-login to new server.

obviously the regular pk2 editing tools do not work for the pserver files. this is what happens. all i did was extract divisionsinfo.txt, nothing else! and it corrupts the file. how can i be hitting the extract button wrong? obviously people are using another version of some editing tools to edit pserver pk2 files. i dont know why you people are pretending like you dont know anything about them, its not like it is some big exclusive thing. it is just pk2 editing. i dont even want to edit the pk2 all fancy. i just want to get rid of the **** divisions.

That statement itself makes you sound like a ******. Seriously how can one person push a button differently then another. The program does the whole ******* process for the user. The only person that did any real work here is the author of the PK editor tools, so don't get so ******* proud of yourself for being able to use it to edit the **** files. All I want to do is edit 1 **** line out of my PK2. IS that so much to ask of this forum? If you all are so **** much better at running this program then me then please by all means help me out here.

well it doesnt work if you remove that line in divisioninfo like u did... try just removing the text... if that doesnt work it doesnt work at all

and no its nothing wrong with the pk2 tools :S

Thank you for the productive answer. However there have been times that I simply extracted a file from the media.pk2 and did no editing to it whatsoever. And for some reason the media.pk2 is still damaged. Showing the same exact process in the video.

Anyways is there a way I can force it to auto-select the first server everytime? The second server placed into this media.pk2 isn't even an active IP anymore so it is useless. But only play on the new server anyways.
