Okey guys I am tired of people asking rates!! SO, I made this thread i found, so you guys know the rates, and more info, and you can STOP ASKING THE DAMN RATES!!!

i think everyone knows elitepvpers, and also.. they may know that from some months the e*pvp comunity started to work at a silkroad private server, based on iSRO platform ( patches, versions stuff like that ) the staff beta is on now and the closed beta .. close...

other informations:
- there won't be just 1 server, maybe at the start but after some weeks/months other servers will come out
- since e*pvp made some bots, they sure know how to get rid of them.

some things that are done..:
•Move (80%) theres still bugs in the move functions and wont work in the cave.
•Teleports (90%) - Caves are disable
•Talk to npc (85%) you can talk to most of the npc in game and shows the correct dialog.
•Pickup and drop gold and items (80%) theres still some bugs in it
•Skills (60%) Most skills work now even the combo ones, but still the damage displayed is not in sync with the animation and some skills the attack is too fast, can cancel active skills, persistent skills, that mantain when you teleport or when you logout. (some items and premium) Skill that change stats and speed are updated correctly, knockback, knockdown and status from skills are disable.

•Equip and unequip avatars and items (85%)
•Mobs spawning (90%) still need to add random giants and champions
•Sell items (90%)
•Normal attack (70%) still need to add real damage and other checks
•Hotkeys (70%) you can insert them, remove them and its saved in the db and when you login your skillbar is updated to the one u saved.
•Stall (90%) Need more testing to see its working 100%.
•Guild (50%) You can create a guild, disband,change notice, join and kick (partially), new member login notification, donate gp, chat.
•Exchange (95%) Need heavy testing to see its working 100%.
•Alchemy (50%) item enchanting work properly success and fail, need to add blues.

•Item Mall (95%) You can buy any item but theres still some problem with some of them.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING RATES:
Well, for now Rafa has had to step down from being main coder in the project in order to focus on his studies at uni, so ofcourse we wish him luck there and he should return when done, resuming his role no doubt. However, i have discussed this with ChiN over msn, and we all know members feel this way so i felt it was a good diea to clear this up now once and for all! 1x rates are likely not going to be the rate at launch, we will say between 3-5x right now! As rafa could be gone for 7 months + we hope to release before that obviously. Dont wory, Eckoro has told me he has 2 new C ++ Coders, who have 7 years experience with using it, so we shouldnt stall while rafa is away.


Forums Fucked again...:

Hey guys, forums had been hacked! I will attempt to repair the db, but for now i have installed the latest IPB, the final RC release available for IP customers, this is something we wouldve had to have done anyway for the obvious security issues with ipb 2.3.6 "it is safe, but hackable all the same".

I have imported all the old forum files to the /forum dir, this is simply for future use if the sql fixes work, and i can resume using the old forums sql DB for this new installation. If you register to reply, thats fine....but your accounts will be wiped ofcourse once i fix the DB. The worst case scenario, is that we have to use an older forum backup, sadly... the last backup i have is 2 months old! I had recently cleaed my HDD, losing all backups i had, this was literally 2-3 days before the forums went down, so timing couldnt have been worse.

Well lots of stuff going on this past weeks we still working on the emulator, but since the task is really big, we decided to better stick to the core stuff and then do small updates on our files, this means that instead of opening a server with euro and all the latest updates we gonna start simple just a chinese server like sro on the beta stages.

We still working making the website and integrating all the services and finishing some final details on the game server we still missing.
