Adding Sound to Unique Kills
Hi People,
It is a common feature in SRO that every player reads the text on their screen when someone kills a unique monster.
What I would like to do is to create a sound effect on global level when such actions are executed.
Example:
Playerx kills the unique Tiger Girl. Info appears on the screen as text.
Every player connected to the server hears the sound :
- GodLike! (just like in Dota)
Has anyone ever tried to implement such feature to the game?

I don't realy think that this is possible, and another problem is, who plays silkroad with sound these days?

x) I ve got some bright ideas about the case. I just wanted to check if anyone has ever tried it before.but I highly doubt it anyways.

It might be possible with emulator. You can add this sound to the unique death @ skilleffect.txt (Only the killer or the players near it will hear the sound)

Hmm,
There is this blasting lightning sfx playing every now and then on Jangan map no matter if your music / sound option is off or not.
This is experimental anyways. Thanks already for the input.

It is possible, but it would require players to log in trough "bot" which has these functions.

OFFTOPIC : It is so weird and exciting in a way that you have answered the query since I just downloaded your zbot's opensource code as I am working on a real AI for Silkroad scene. My intention is to bring Quake3 bot logic into Silkroad . A bot which can learn, which uses a* path finding algorithm, which is completely autonome and has personality thanks to fuzzy logic.
If you want to chat a bit through PM I would be so glad.
