[Discussion] KSRO and ISRO Files.

Weren't they both leaked about 7-9 or so months ago? I know that only a few people actually have them, but why aren't they using them to make a decent p-server(aside from ex-sro or whatever)?

Also I can understand why some people don't "open" a server with different server, if they don't have bot it's pretty "useless", people will like "new" content but they want to bot.

Simple: because it would be interesting at the beginning - but sooner or later the servers would die too. You can say what you want, but this is going to happen! enough cases like these have been out there. Also the owners of these files aren't really into no-lifing and trying to get rich with a dead game. some people own these files since February 2011, I've seen them already. But, as I said, no way in opening a server on such ******-up gaming community who first wants x5 rates, and after 3 days want x5000 rates.

for the ones seeking the files: they won't be released by the people who have them - not even when you beg for them. Also because the server handling is almost the same as the vsro ones. Of course there are nice new features like linked items in global chat and so on.. but, meeeehh.
You now ask "if they won't host a unique server, why aren't they going to release them?" Simple - The community doesn't really deserve such release, and this would kill the scene even more.
It's good like it is. forget about it and do somethign useful out of your life.

If you want to know, we're only 3 (Me, Benco and mark, 3 of them leave the sro scene) to have vSro 1.271 files, and we wont release it, like theross said, the community don't "deserve" it. if I release them what will happen ? 10000 servers will growth with the purpose of making money, and maybe 2 / 3 for the developpement, and they'll develop on them in secret ( Just a little thing about Synx who was able to check the "Scene Maker" on those files which make the files more intresting).

Today for my part I don't see why I should release them, if in somes days we'll see * 5555 times : [NEW SERVER WITH FILES 1.271][EXP RATE x1000][CAP 189]...

Still nothing too special imo...
cant be much more new on isro/ksro can it? same bugs/glitches, fellow pets, fortress... all the same, except for global-item-linking ?

@Hagster - already forgot that part. Doesn't matter anyway - Got a well paid job, those 50$ or how much it was isn't any considerable amount anymore. Good to see that you're still around (makes me believe that you're doing fine).

Back to topic, and my negativity: as someone who owns these files already stated: he won't release them. yet you should contact him. learning new stuff is always helpful, and might grant you a better chance in the job market.

im pretty sure ksro / isro files are NOT leacked

not even then server Extreme Silkroad-R used isro files, they used CSRO Files

ISRO and KSRO is hosted by joymax, all the other servers not so i guess its nearly impossible to get them

OMG all servers are completly bugged : mobs are always outside SMK, Const or even in Bagdad...you call that servers ? really ? So you can have all that client or files from K, V,C or whatever...it will be the same **** ! By the way i dont talk about thoses stupid items from AION whicha are added in game as "new weapon" or those stupid avatar just colorized or painted in "Pink, dark, green...and those stupid [GM]Corrupted...
