iam wondering if someone can edit the game itself ?

-adding more chars or add a new option that makes u creat a custom char like " mmorpg " games , u can choose hair color, eye color etc i dont know why no one think about it till now or even try

Impossible it would take 5,10 years for a developer in our section to do that imagine you would need the Sro Engine to do that! don't hope to much for that

possible is everything. But since you can only work with compiled executables you would need to assemble. That would take YEAAAARRSS even for a good assembler.

And it's not about beeing good. It's about time consuming

But i don't even see why you would wanna do that, you can get far with pk2 it self.

i thought it will be much fun if someone do something like that, u know silkroad is boring as hell now and all what people want is a good server with new edits like that but as u guys said it will take a years, so i think sro is tottaly died now.

We talk about the configuration of each settings extending the gui with settings like that. saving them and much more.

Well, let's say you want to customize your character properly. You don't want to spend 6 years of coding to actually do it properly, HOWEVER you still want to customize your char.

First. Create a SHITLOAD of skins in every *** **** possible combination of hair colour & eye colour and so on.

Then after the general char creation give those ppz a scroll to change the eye colour into Red. In the background the scroll executes a query which UPDATEs _Char SETs RefObjID = SameSkinWithRedEyes WHERE CharID = @CHarIDFromScroll

With that you'd simply change the skill of the whole char. HOwever, the user won't know what you did in the background and will simply only see the char customization.

Be creative boys

There are tonsa things possible if you use a workaround, might end up being more coding slash modeling slash textuering... but still less than actually coding that into the client/srv.

i hope all sro community thinking like you Royal.

the only difference now is cap,skilledits,free silk or no etc

but none ever think about editing any other sides like that, you guys can start with adding only one new char with new face only, then adding more chars .. it will be good , atleast you will have something special in ur server and if you secure it well, so u have the best server ever

Wasn't really a new race, it was more of a MOBA styled game. Which I admit was different, but it was too different, hence why it didn't have a big playerbase.

its possible to add some new charakter skins? or change them? z.B adding an Mangyang and give them the animation of char X and turn off item visibility ? ;D
